    This one.

(Probably because everything sounds good with a VOX AC30 amp in it.)

    Speaking of great songs:

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Danny Flores, who played the saxophone and shouted the word "tequila!" in the 1950s hit song "Tequila!", has died. He was 77.

I always find it banal, just like any other song that complaint with God behaviour but expecially if it come with a videoclip. Wanna bitch with God and make money about it? Mmmh...
Yes, it's the amp that makes the trick... ;)

I don't care if it's about God or the neighbour's rat, it sounds good. I like Amazing Grace, too. Am I Christian then? But those lyrics are quite open anyway. Is Miró banal or genious? [IMG]

It has this big fuckin' janglin' chimin' sound I first heard on Beatles records when I was a kid, and I fell in love with it since then.

    Another example.

1989, when hair metal had a downfall. OMG, hard rock on a Bigsby Gretsch? That's sweet. :)

Personally I think most "hair-bands/glam rockers of the 80~90 period were just big lable shallow pumped-ups of the REAL bands beforehand.

How many Dick Dale, Lead Zep., Deep Purp., AC/DC, goin' back a bit Cream....
wannabe's were in those hair bands..... not even sure to call them "hair bands" but standouts for me were Van Halen and Bon Jovi and if you count before that time, Rick Darenger, Sammy Hagar bands.
Real problem I guess there are so many more to talk about and honorable mentions.....

My fav REM was Radio Free Europe, quick and to the point....
