Funny, my take was that Stec was saying that non believers at least take responsibility for their own actions much more that so-called Christians who are more likely to give their god credit or blame for their own actions.

"God in on my side, so therefore I can do X". Where X can be anything most atrocious.

What is conscience? Well, it isn't a thing, it is undefinable, there are no scientific proofs of states of mind like conscience.
If it feels good, do it. That's my credo. My truth, my gospel.

Maybe he was unconscious when he wrote that....... maybe he was in another state of mind....

    ...or maybe he meant:

My foreskin is itchy, what can I do?
I heard something called cyanocrylate works to relieve it...
OH? Thank you so much, Boolah, my good friend, I shall go to the apothecary and get some. You are such a good friend. I thank you, my itchy foreskin thanks you. My testicles as well.

They are jealous for they have no Christmas, no presents at the end of the year.

Salvation for them is: fresh human ashes and a swim in the river, up-stream please.

Wow, heartc, that sounds so manicheic! Are you sure you are what you call yourself!?

Good for you! So many "Atheists" get mad against others' beliefs. :( Sometimes they get quite incoherent! (there are a few examples in this thread in fact) Or in the least, glaringly lay out their feeling for the exclusivity and superiority of their own belief above others - the same in which they accuse theists. I guess it is a part of human nature.
I've been dragged into a fanatical argument every time I tried to present a more balanced and appreciative view. They automatically assumed I am religious. Who is not with us is with our 'enemy'. Yet they believe to themselves that they are tolerant.

Fucketeer is somehow my favourite character here! F, do you mind having a fanclub!? :)

    :rose: :rose: :rose: :zachot:
Wow, heartc, very well expressed! Stacking dust and bones!
(I didnt imagine a day will come I will be giving you positive reputation!)

    My proposition:
Noone is a Christian. Only - some try to become. But still fewer probably are striving in the right directions at all.

Don't confuse a name with its content.

By the way, if you speak in bulgarian language, saying "I am christian" is extremely odd. You'd rarely hear the word "christian" (hristiianin) used at all outside history lectures. One could say "I am chrisitan" if he actually wants to differentiate. He basically means "I am not a muslim".
Habitually people say "I am a believer" or "No, I am not really believing".

    ouch, now, that, scares me!
from people with morals, at least I'd know what to expect!
    or what is generally expected.
but ANYTHING could be making R feel good!
beating me, his wife, maybe mutilation gives him pleasure? deceiving me, his friend - maybe making his friends quarrel and distrust each other gives him secret satisfaction? abusing me, his employee - surely wiping his sperm over my fresh bum must be SOO good?

somehow, this reminds me of "The Yacoubian Building"

    Correction.
Lust, lusting, lusted, and lusteth is mentioned extensively throughout the bible. Ref: The Zondervan Strongs Concordance by Kohlenberger Swanson pages: 982-983. It will also give you the Aramaic, Hebrew, and Roman translations as a language aid. :rtfm:

Yes I am a Christian but I don't attempt to ram it down people's throats. I make corrections when I see error but other than that my role in attempting to convert anyone is limited to your wanting to know, not my wanting to tell you. If you want to hear about it I will tell you, if you do not, then I will not.

dust wipes easily from my feet. :rtfm:

I gave her two bucks out of compassion for her plight.
And she had real nice tits.
Believe me, ya seen enough of em and there ain't any lust in eyein em, just an appreciation, like lookin at a flower arrangement. Ya only lust after a flower arrangement if yer maybe a bee.
I don't lust after any woman's tits. I just like seein them sometimes.
Ya can only love a tit, ya can't really do too much else to one, other than love it and it will feed a baby which is fuckin wonderful.
But I don't lust a tit. A tit is for lovin and lookin at and feeding little people.
Man you got some serious hangups. I forgive you.

According to the Hadith, one of the reasons a muslim woman can get a divorce is when her husband is unable to please her sexually. I can't see a rule like that being ordained by the christian churches. :)
