I don't recall the Royal Canadian Navy having any Marines. No. There are no Canadian Marines. I think that funny ad was a Yank announcer and some film of Royal Navy sailors and Marines. If Canada wanted to have Marines, Canada would have to have ships capable of carrying them, like, well, like having some ships for instance, that would be a first step. Uh. Okay, so Canada does have some ships. A Laundry Ship, one ship that has a Shopping Mall in it and some tiny tiny ones that patrol against submarines and chase boats loaded with illegal immigrants. No. I can't see that funny ad being Canadian, people in Canada don't have very evolved senses of humour, that is, unless you consider sarcasm funny. Have a nice day. Eh?
