Truth be told, the guy who sings tries to sing like the gangsta rapper's a bit too much. Almost makes him sound like he's got a serious speech impediment. -Z

BTW- I work in an aerospace company and walk through customer services office every single day on the way to my desk. I bet Pounds against Dollars that in case of 2 out of 3 Poles in customer services you would never notice that they were Polish... even after an hour of conversation. The girl's scousing so badly, that she could be easily mistaken for a south Liverpooldian, the guy's accent is so 'blabbly american' that you would never guess that he's Polish either. The other thing is, most of the Polish do tend to have that hard accent, with hard 'r' instead of soft one and hard pronounciation of consonant endings of the words. Not the educated ones though The difference here is-you spot the crowd on the streets, on trains, in the busses... you watch people like me through the tinted windows of our cars. I simply don't have time to waste on commuting, shopping, babbling on the streets.
You are partialy right but aren't you getting same impresion listening regular rap performed by black guys. almost all sound like they have speech impediment. Then again depends from what linguistical-english stance you are looking at it. One from australia will say sam for any song came from States. Or have you ever had chance to listen someone from South Africa?
I had had same opinion while ago, but some of words just do push the button, and I start to liking it.

Not all rap sucks. There are three or four songs that are worth something, not much but something. It gives a great message to all impressionable youth, white or black or whatever. Dress stupidly so you stand-out in public in a negative way, so your very site is offensive. Speak in a sub language so only your homies understand. Repeat the message that drug dealing, drug use, violence are good, that money is supreme and all things superficial are good, buy those cars and jewelery and all the bling-bling. Do not go to school or get a job, live on the streets, rob and steal, kill and deal. Wear clothes at least four sizes too large, put your hat on anyway but correctly, wave your hands around to prove that your words have more meaning than what you are saying. Act like an stupid and ignorant 3rd class citizen in your own community. Be proud of you disenfrachisement, wallow in your misery and cover yourself in that fine vernier of false glamor that the Man is selling you, RETAIL. Every rapper is being OWNED by the very things he puts down in his "art". 99.9% of rap is shit. More so any white boys that try to do it.
