It is in fact the FM-2 manual, but it does have alot of info for regular Wildcats as well. Are you looking for anything in particular? Maybe I have the info you need. On a side note what manuals do you own? <S> bullet
No worries, I have a FM-2 manual, most probably the same one you have. I am not really looking for any particular information, I just love to collect aircraft manuals. My collection of manuals stands at around 800 manuals, ranging from the Tiger Moth, through to the Modern stuff. I have manuals for just about every major WW2 type (except Japanese, this stuff is rarer than Rocking-Horse Shit!). I am more than happy to put a couple of manuals on here relevant to the game. Mods, your thoughts??
Hell yes do it. Any pertaining to the aircraft used here would be most welcome. Even if things are not changed it would still be a nice to view the info, Such as charts (climb, take off distance with different loads and specific handling characteristics) Add them please this thread or start another thread Aircraft charts, and each new addition just state the name of the aircraft and then add the charts/photo. Some of the charts zenos has already. I had tzebra add some info i had long ago but i'm sure it is gone, but they were a little crude with the crappy digital camera I had used. any how good idea. and 800 manuals that for sure makes you a collector <S> bullet
I had a B24 manual for the early model and updates for the later model (new engine starting ,fuel management and boosted controls. Also had a F18 first series manual. I took a look around and can't find any of my stuff since my move, sorry. Only thing I found is an old VHS copy of the AT6 flight training films.
I will certainly put up some manuals here for people to download. The first few manuals I will probably upload is some Hurri Pilot Notes, Spitfire PN, Pony FM, RAF Bf109 Pilots Notes, and FW-190 Manual. Please note that some of these files are quite large... Dude, I recently had dinner at a strangely isolated steak house. I was very surprised. Amazingly, this place had on its walls not only manuals, but uniforms, signs, and publicity crap about particular airlines and PUBLISHERS OF WORKS RELATED TO AIRCRAFT DESIGN in the 1920s/30s. I found myself standing and trying to read the manuals, while my very professional lady co-worker looked on with disease, if not disapproval. I told her: I want those books! She didn't understand, but I know the books are still there, in that particular place, and that comforts me for a little bit. All is not lost. [Noticed a grammatical error.]
