BTW- had a Beemer ever since (actually, I still have it)... one of the nicest cars to drive, one of the more expensive ones to service.

Heeheh...thanks Fuel isn't an issue for me. I live 2.3 miles from work so, I can easily afford gas, even at $6 a gallon. I'd still drive the truck. I also have HHO plans in the future. With the HPTuners.com software I'll be able to get a lot more out of the motor/transmission. My saying goes like this: "If you can't afford the fuel, don't buy the vehicle."

 

No, sorry, it wasn't me. No more hotrods for a while yet. The US economic situation is on the verge of a meltdown and I needed to get it out of the way so I can move back to my family back in ND, and hunker down. We're in serious trouble. Especially in my neighborhood. All I can tell you guys is to stock up on supplies when you can if you're in the US. Not sure about the rest of the world.

Pretty much any car/truck that is bought right now in the $25,000+ range is expensive to service. Buying a foreign car here in the US is a costly venture.

WAY too much money and time. girlfriend nearly kicked me out of the house- more than once!
