Finally I flew again in FH today. Took an old laptop w/98. A laptop is not ideal though, because it has no dedicated keypad But it worked Was a lot of fun
Yes, I found an old IBM Thinkpad and got FH to work with XP, only thing it's only in the 2D version as the IBM graphics chip in the 600E cannot be upgraded to 3D drivers or 3D cards! I'm still looking for an old desktop. Suddenly the local market has driven the old computer prices too high for just a game machine. I suppose it will be a while before we see an X-box version of FH?
I wonder what too high is... I've got an old Pentium 3 laying around gathering dust. Also an AMD Athlon 2400+ XP taking up space. I've got no real use for them, but they both still work and it would be a shame to sell them, as the price would have to be practically giving it away... Right here the AMD is not worth more than a $100 and even that is quite a bit exaggerated.
oh PLEASE do....... i am trying other crap like IL2 or aces high but there is nothing like good ol' warbirds
I had Windows 7 Problems over problems, and i worked on that to use FH in windows 7. 1° - it´s needed to install WB and FH in "Programs Files" (x86) 2° - it´s necessary to clic on icon of both (WB and FH), change settings to: Compatibility: windows 95 or 98 Execute like admin 3° - So, its needed to close "visual effects" of your windows; Click with a right mouse buton over FHL icon. Select properties Click in "unable visual theme", and click ok 4º - So, you initializing that procedures for flight. Download ip lists etc.. from FHL. 5° - I had a new problem. The "mouse plane command" (alt+m) dont work
