Did they ever improve the flight model and damage models? I thought it was hilarious to take a D.520 and put the wingtip into the cockpit of a Bf-109 and watch the 109 explode as I tumble a little bit and fly away. Same story for infantry en masse. *thump* *thud* *thump* *bump* *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!*

Renamed version of World War II Online (WWIIOL)?

I played the trial once, I like it. Wasn't reaching its full potential though. It wasn't bad, though the flying was generally speaking, pretty bad. Huge map, sometimes a little too huge even, maybe :)

For all of the things the game does, BE is a pretty good game. However, it's jack of all trades, master of none. The flight model seems a little too soft, but it's not meant to be a hardcore flight sim, either. IIRC, BE also had destroyers and riverines. I'm not so sure about battleships.
