Should maybe let a purebred English speaker read through it and simplify the wording so it's easier to translate into other languages since other languages are too limited in their vocabulary. The English language as you know is quite complicated and more colorful but, it's more diverse than people realize, not realise. And translating software is limited to what people use in everyday conversation.

No, you have it wrong, I'm afraid. It's more like this:
    Example:
    Comparison:

    A Hard Day's Night P-38 Lightning
    Artists/Writers: Beatles Researchers/Information/Users/Developers
    Developer: Sound Lab Programmers
    Publisher: EMI IENT

These words can be put into definitions, in relation to this whole thing of WBFH.

"Contributors" could be put into definition for you to create your own word.
Contributors would be: "List of people/users who have submitted information/data/specifications & research information, also imagery/graphics/art etc for the development of WBFH."

Publisher would defined as IENT, the company who created it, and owns rights to this game, and where it comes from in the first place, yet.
You do not want to use the term "publisher" as WBFH. It would be better defined as "Developers". The game is created by IENT right now but, has been re-developed/improved/changed by WBFH developers/programmers & contributors.

Think of the game like a muscle car. You aquire it, modify it, improve it but, it is still originally from some automaker and the parts you put into it are from someone else, and are your own preference, such as engine function/performance, drivetrain/performance bodywork/paint/appearance etc.

So, it may have been a 1971 Monte Carlo by Chevrlolet,

but, it's now a 1971 Monte Carlo developed by -ALW--.

    So, there you have it.

Changed some things on the list. If that's ok. :shuffle:

    For example:

If someone is a novice, that would define that they are new to flying.
If someone is a newcomer, that would define they are new to WBFH but, may be an experienced pilot.

There should be more options in that area like:
    Novice: New inexperienced pilots
Pilots: List of users who fly/use WBFH in the arenas
Aces: Experienced pilots with high scores
    New to WBFH: Newcomers
Members: Current users of WBFH (registered in arenas/forums)

I can translate the Russian text to English on the website if you'd like. I see the English option doesn't give English text on the pages.
    Nice website flk!

WarBirds FreeHost - это бесплатный Online авиаcимулятор
WarBirds FreeHost - Free online Flight Simulator

Игра на тему второй мировой войны, в которой вам позволено стать пилотом одного из истребителей или бомбардировщиков основных стран-участниц второй мировой войны (WWII).

Working off the theme of World War II, you can fly fighters or bombers from each of the countries who produced aircraft and participated in World War II.

В отличие от уже давно существующих игр эта игра завоевала популярность тем, что бои в небе происходят в онлайн (через Интернет) и воевать вам придется с реальными, живыми противниками.

Compared to other popular games, WarBirds has gained popularity due to the fact that opposing players in the game are other users online from all over the world, from different nations. Combat with REAL people, not just a simulator!

Вы можете скачать её с этого сайта и потратив совсем немного времени на настройку ринуться в воздушный бой!

You can download our FreeHost version of WarBirds here, install and log into an arena for hours of real world dogfighting, combat, and strategy!

    :D

    it's lack of the template.
flk supposes that there could be several links besides named in the page.
so he named it "другая ссылка" (another link). it does not have real sense on the certain site.
i translated it as comment in brackets about presense of an actual link.

Just an idea, "social" networks are popular and any free advertising could help.
