http proxy & connection trouble

    http proxy & connection trouble

    anyone using this proxy ? :

    proxy2.ess.fds-schule.de port: 8080

    i have been using it for last 4 month getting ingame pingtests around 450-550 ms and FHL pings 320-420 ms on 195..5 adress.
    3 or 4 days ago the something changed and i get a succesful test on FHL Options and OFF on all proxies :dunno:

    Can't find any other good working proxy, and even if i find some that gives me pingtest ~800 ms there are warps all over :(

    anyone else has connection problems lately or its just me ?

    if i connect in default mode ping in FHL varies from 230 to 1200 ms and in game its a blinking discoteque of beacon colors, which makes the play impossible - http proxy used to fix that for me...but no longer it seems :(

    I have this problem, too. Luckily I can use the proxy of my ISP (T-online) and compensate the connection probs.

    Try to use proxy.ess.fds-schule.de:8080. Sometimes it works but no. 2 is off.

    I have also great problems with the log-in.

    Only the IP-Nr. xxx.5 works and the proxy "proxy2.ess.fds-schule.de port: 8080" is not running.

    I had 4 discoes in 5 log-ins - so I hope that this only a temporaly problem.

    i get great (for my modem...) pings - 320 ms average, veries frm 230 to 400, and in game i get yellow all the time !!

    What does the "use HTTPS open port" box do ?
    As far as i remember i always used HTTP prox with this box checked. Now if the box is checked i get OFF on all proxies despit succesful test, if its unchecked i get the good pings but its impossible to play...

    What is that box responsible for ?

    what's proxie for warbirds???? I get a ping of 200-300 average on .21, and a ping 95-200 on .13

    these pings in Canada?? Can I get better then that??

    ((BTW< i dont yellow beacon))

    For german users at t-online I would recommend:
    www-proxy.t-online.de Port 80 and 'use HTTP proxy' checked.
    Usually I get connection over 195.208.34.5 with stable ping times
    around 140 (connection to forum is much harder!).
    Without proxy there are very often outbrakes from 1000 and more...

    Didn't fly yet, but bright green beacon in tower! :cool:

    Thanks, great proxy list linked in that thread!
    The first one in the list already solved the problem.
    I wonder why t-online proxy isn't bad with FHL but useless with forum server...

    P.S.: Vice versa the same proxy which is good for the forum is
    pretty useless with FHL. Strange...
