Россия, большое спасибо. I just want to thank the boys from 25 IAP, 228 ShAD, and =FB= for being so nice during my very short stay in Moscow. Specifically, thank you, Boroda, Africa, Ivan, Arcticfox, VikS, Kgach, Elle, Krista, Rustam, and Stefan. I was very touched by your graciousness, and should you ever find yourselves in Seattle you must call on me to reciprocate in kind I will particularly remember for a long time to come our drinking 'session' at Africa's flat. Hopefully, the day isn't too far when I will return, and this time with my family. Time will tell. Also, thanks to the Warbirders in St. Petersburg who we met for some beers. That was very kind of you to take the time to meet with this old westerner Finally, special thanks to Boroda and Arcticfox who were essentially my hosts, guides, and translators in Moscow and St. Petersburg. I won't forget your kindness - ever. Now, I must improve my Russian, since there are so many great books to read from the Motherland. Poka! Best regards, Greg Leon Guerrero aka leonid

Leonid, my friend, I want to say that it was great pleasure to be your host. You are always welcome! It's great that you found time and spent you vacation in our "hard land of the winter" with us You really impressed my Father. He finaly understood that if adults play this games - it's a more then just a game. Again I have to say that if you don't want to eat or drink (hehe) something with Russians - you just have to say that. Noone will be offended, at least if you are not drinking with illiterate and agressive people in some dead-end street. I've read in the guide-book that you left that it's a "grave offence to refuse to eat or drink something you are offered" here. It's not true. Our purpose is to make you feel good, not to poison you And good luck with your article!
Im fine Leo, glad to see you on this forum. Hey guys. For who didnt fly Aces High, Leonid was the La5FN/Yaks terror of the sky! I can remember winging with my friend Hristo we usualy in 109s and he telling me: watch out for Leonid's La5FN. Hes good and carefull. Definitely yes, passing like a flash and disapearing in the haze... A BIG salute for you Leo!
Is such a pleasure see things like that. Makes me feel happy don't know why (Hey! I'm a sensitive guy ok? )
Yep Grobar. Hristo from Croatia. An old 109 addicted that fall in love to 190 after it was introduced in Aces High.
