Hi guys, When i use WB helper to test the speed of proxies i get a much better ping from .5 then from .98, but when entering the tower after first flight i get yellow/red beacon all the time (on .5 proxy), making it almost impossible to use it (other than relogging any sortie). The in-game ping itself is very good (100-150), and it looks much more stable than .98 whyle flying. The problem is in twr. Anybody can help me ? Im getting same problem, ping 200 from canada on .5, all good, start to land, YELLOW, RED, disco !!!!!!!!
I observe the same problem connecting from germany. First, i thought it's my provider, but after using a few others the same problem occours. Then changed connection typ (down from K56flex to V34) nothing changed. Maybe any routing problem?
can i join the club? similar experience with .5, which is normally the fastest for me (70-90ms in wb-helper and stable as hell) since, don't know, 2-3 weeks i get unsuspected red beacons and discoes, sometimes with pattern like: entering arena, chosing field, start, fly 3 mins, red, disco! sometimes other or no pattern. this happens not constantly, but when, it lasts for 1-5 hours also when i try wb-helper 20 times in follow, there is 1-2 times, where i have maximum ping of >5000ms, rest is 70-90ms, but never above 10000ms. in game the result is that all others warping heavy once every 30s-3mins. a relog with .21 helps normally since 2 days i have good experience with .5 again. oh yes: that is with isdn-dialup, tested 3 different providers (one is about +30ms worse)... with dsl it is usually worse ping (about +100ms in average), but same problem with .5 i don't think, it is a routing-problem
I always use .5, and my ping is about 300-400ms, but nobody ever tells me i warp. Also, no problem at all of discos (if you look my statistics, i have some discos, but is only light off ) The best proxy for me
