Thanks Nicaee for showing us this page, great one :super: , but I'm a little bit disappointed, only Fascist-Spanish songs, no songs of Spanish communist, and there were hundreds of songs that Communist Spanish used to sing during the Spanish Civil War and after, during WWII, in the armies they fought with (U.K., U.S.S.R., with the French "Resistance", Free French units too....) those men faught bravely for more than ten years, after the end of WWII, some spanish veterans of our civil war that had been fighting on WWII too, tried to make a new war in spain, they took some valleys and made "guerrilla" warfare against Franco's regime, but it was useless, they hoped to get help from U.K., France, U.S...... but they forgot them, as history has forgotten them during 40 years in my country, and seems that happens too often, they are forgoten from all of this kind of things......

    No Pasaran!!!!

P.S. sorry for the long post, but when I see thi kind of thing, it makes me sad :( . But WTG nicaee, good page :)

this song is touching and inspirating (at least me :))
propaganda, of course, but the lyrics is good for me.
wow, the translation is offending :)

    svyashennaya voina (holy war)

    here's the lyric

    stand up huge country,
    stand up for holy war
    with fascist dark force,
    with cursed horde

    refrain:
    let's noble rage
    is boiling like a wave.
    the people's war goes,
    the holy war.

    like two different poles
    we are enemies in everything.
for the light and peace we are fighting,
they do for the kingdom of darkness

    (refrain)

    let us repulse for opressors
    of all ardent ideas,
    violators, robbers
    torturers of people!

    (refrain)

    dark wings don't dare
    to fly over the motherland.
    her fields spacious
they don't dare to trample down

    (refrain)

    to rotten scum's forehead
we will drive the bullet in.
    for refuse of the humankind
we will knock up a sturdy coffin

    (refrain)

    stands up the huge country,
    stands up for mortal fight
    with fascist dark force,
    with cursed horde

    (refrain)

    let's noble rage
    is boiling like a wave.
    the people's war goes
    the holy war

    (refrain)

however, the lyrics is full, and the song from the site is shortened, but refrains are doubled.

    that's all :shuffle:

i like also lily marlene, and marsellaise.
