    Нужна помощь | I need HELP!

    Я недавно узнал что мой дед, воевавший в ВОВ, умер от ран и похоронен в Польше в городе Глейвин (я незнаю как правильно пишется название города по польски). Не могли бы вы подсказать где географически расположен этот город и как правильно пишется его название. Может быть у вас есть советы о том как посетить Польшу чтобы побывать на его могиле.

    My grandfather fighting during WW2 died of wounds in Poland in city Gleywin (I don't know what is the right name of the city). So can you tell me what is the right name of the city and where it is placed geographicaly. May be you have some advise about of traveling in Poland in case of visiting his grave.

    i'm not sure, but IMHO you are talking about Gliwice (Gleiwitz in german).
    it's region named Upper Silesia near Katowice or Krakow.

    Which Army/unit was he in? What was the combat route of his unit? When did he fell (exact date)? This could be very helpful.
