Who do you think I am , friggin Sonar? I was never interested in beaufighter. But I could become with all that sexy color...m.. Anyway, if u know something that i dont, how about you share it here... The only thing i found about that bofighter, is that max speed irl was about 515km/h or something, but at lower alt, like 3000 m or something. Other source says about 536km/h or something. The reason I asked, it was a lot faster in previous versions. Many people have flown it because of its speed at the time of appearance.Just want to know if this should be like this, spit being faster than bo ... (f....g Brits should change their language , its a lot easier to write bofighter, than bEAufighter)
In any event, in my opinion you guys need to stop comparing the Beaufighter to other aircraft in WBFH and just test/verify that it's performance is in accordance with facts, data, manuals. etc. Making another aircraft better than another just because, is just plain irresponsible.
-exec- , fas--- I have a request....can the TA be changed back to the medium arena with more fields with air starts? And also, for ease of current testing some of us are doing, it helps to have various airstarts at various alts. And finally, can there also be an airstart altitude of 40,000 ft (12,192m)?
I got these, the bullet blues, because nobody is ever on anymore http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J503OvHWKko
agree Alw, i just got data by testing speed for various planes, never had intention to compare it like that There are 2 Tas, one with med , but I again agree we need air starts for tests English is not so simple as Russian..Ever watched series "Homicide life on the street" , Noisul? There was character with name "Beau" , but it sounded like "Bo"...
lol How many times you have seen in movies people spelling their last names for example, because they dont know how to write what they hear? Thats what I meant...Russian is easier in that matter, but still, Serbo-Croat is even easier..I would simply write "Bofajter" or even better "Bofajtr" and I would read it just like that %) Here is even better example, Ju52, sounds like what I would write "Dzej Ju 52" and then I see Fas writing it like "ZHu52". In my language it is simply Ju52, from " Junkers", and I dont understand Fas, because I thought Russians would write it like "Yu52" you know , with that letter i dont have in keyboard
And Ju52 would be spoken differently in other areas of the US. In the East, North East, it would be "jayou fitty too" In the South East, it would be "Jahy youuh fifty teuu" In the South, it would be "Jarh yeeuu fiffy tew" In the West/Central, its: "J-you fifty too" In the North Central, it would be: "jayuu fif-t-tooo" In Canada, it would be: "ajayuu fiff-tee too, aye"
In the Pentagon it would be: "Hey YOU, order us us s'more B-52's...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxLe8MWdWe0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgHSDa2Jwqc&feature=related
it's a russian warbirds slang, to call ju-52 as "zhuchka" (popular dog nick), fw 190 as "foka" (simplifying) or "fokker" (as erroneously we called it in ww2/gpw), any ki as "kikimora" (russian tales personage. hate that - unclear which of 27/43/44/61/84), la-5/7 as "lavka" (as in ww2/gpw), pe-2 as "peshka" (as in ww2/gpw), grumman f4f/f6f as "kot" (="cat"), me262 (and now meteor) as "svistok (="whistler"), etc. correctly we say "yunkers yu"
