The rot has started to bite, but they just ignore it.
Putin has put no measures in place for the crisis. He's just buying arms from Iran and watching everything collapse. The only "measures" they take are just for show - like "employing more workers to boost domestic production" when in fact they lose workers due to war, miss industrial parts and equipment and experience a drop in foreign trade.

Gheasimov has just mentioned Romania as the 4th country in terms of military help for Ukraine - video in the link, min 5:05.
The Romanian govt never acknowledged this, although one Romanian TAB (Romanian modified BTR design) was presumably spotted in Ukraine.
The silence is so deep, that many Romanians are pissed off about it. But it probably has to do with Romania having to be very careful so that any overt major military help to Ukraine wouldn't be used by ruSSians to destabilise things in Moldova.

There can be no excuses for the crimes committed by Romania against Jews, Roma and other groups during WW2. But that was 80 years ago.
The ruSSians bringing up this topic today are only trying to deflect the attention from the current crimes of their country, that they fully support and promote.
