Brother Mumble; YES !!! I saw that too..... and I wasn't going to say anything ..but now that you've seen it too ... well that was a much better video than the can opener...... I'm going to use that move on a Japanese chick tonight.... RTC-TTC
Would be awesome one day to be able to buy one of those P-38 Lightnings but, I would settle for one of these... http://flylightning.com/
A scaled-down P-38 kit plane using GM V-8 motors????? Where do I sign-up? I looked and haven't found any news since 2008.. did they die ? Where's an active link/page ?????
Yep, only fitting! The V12s were GM engines too. Not sure there is a big demand for those right now. Once BHO was assigned, things started going downhill in the economy.
Yes, back in the good 'ole days when Allison was a division of GM. I just wonder if they're using the new all alloy V-8 blocks; LS7. I'd convert to single plane crankshafts too. I suppose the costs would go exponential if they were to convert the BMW V-12s to aero-specs.... .... and going to turbo props would just not be right either. Of course there's nothing that sounds better than a V-12 cranking over. Other than a big radial.. ha ha ha.
