Don't get too excited, I meant an actual warbird, not a combat flight sim.

Nice, wonder if they have plans to restore it or display it as it is? Thanks for sharing Rainer

Story says they'd like to restore it and display it somewhere in the Chicago area, video says it'll be on display here for awhile before being moved to Pensacola, FL. Of course, headline in the video says "Fighter Jet Recovered" so who knows. I've been trying to find more info, many times in these cases you can actually volunteer to help with the restoration. (As if I have time)

The sea is a crappy place to find artifacts, they corrode so quickly.
We should fight more sea battles on lakes.

The wreck was in lack Michigan. So I suppose the wreck will be in better shape.
Still, we really should have more see battles in lakes:
    Like this one, eh?

Very cool :) My dad went through there (GLNTC) for his basic training before Korea.
