I mentioned this before, and I will mention it again. I switched from red to gold because of the lack of organization, or real coordinated effort as a team. Field capture doesnt seem important anymore. Time and time again, I close fields, and ask and ask then my asking turns to frantic begging. I then either have to crash and burn, or disco in order to take a JU myself. Then as I reach the field in the damn ju, I am either bombarded by cons or from acks at the now re-opened field. I remember when all I could see were red fields across the arena, now golds dominate the board, not just in the early war, but during the entire TOD, when we have medium and large bombers that can single handedly close a field. I told reds what I was doing. I entered enemy territory, launched commandos, mined the field, and just left a couple hard targets for tbf in one pass. Field Closed....Hooraay Right? No one one even answered. My God Just say BZ. I would understand.
And its not just me I see others begging likewise for JU ,while I am at some ridiculous altitude, and no one will come. To Risky?

You are talking about dominating color on the map?

I am encouraged to say that on the FreeHost there are only squad that is specialised on the fields capturing. It is named 228 Shturmovaya AviaDiviziya (rus.- 228th Attacking Avia Division).

During the current TOD 228ShAD plays for golds. I know no other squads with strafing and capturing primary task. I only know several pilots that are preferring to fight against 228ShAD and not to doghfight freely.

So, the color that 228ShADis for, has more fields.

But I can say that in the WarBirds game there are lot of pure fighter pilots do not want to move the mud. They say that mud moving is not the purpose of the WarBirds game and it is not that they like to do. Many of them are great fighters.

You can hardly capture the field single handely. Anyway you can strafe if you love the process [IMG]

    Therefore you must choose.
First, you can be a lone hunter (as most of pilots are).
Second, you can be a member of well organised attacker squad.
Third, you can be a member of well organised fighter squad.

Exec, while I hear you loud and clear. You are missing my point. I consider myself a bomber pilot. When I hear fighters getting clobbered left and right because 10 v 2 golds on red at a friendly field, I jump to the skies in a fighter, and likely get clobbered myself alongside my fellow pilots. I do this simply because fighters are needed at the moment. At the time the fighter is a necessary agent to accomplish that particular mission. I consider myself a bomber pilot, but I jump into a fighter when needed regardless. In every war there are goals and objectives. We are not trying to free oppressed people, or return stability to a country. We are trying to win a war by capturing all enemy fields. Fighters are necessary agents. Bombers are necessary agents. A JU52 is an absolute necessary agent in accomplishing the objectives. If the mission calls for a ju52 man drop what the hell you're doing and bring it. If fighters of any country, red or gold, wish to just fly and fight, while watching base after base captured by the enemy along with that familiar signal **** ENEMY WINS THE WAR******, then go right ahead. Right now unfortunately, that attitude seems prevalent among REDS. *****GOLD WINS THE WAR RED LOSES***** [IMG]

There are no certain goals of the game on the FreeHost.
    Maybe hitting streaks is priority.
I even could say that players very rarelycapture fields.
FreeHost is a permanent furrball where some pilots strafe.
I do not even say about Ju-52.

As for 228ShAD, it would not deliver troops because it is busy capturing other field or situation does not allows to bring Ju52 where you want it.

Furballs, streaking and loner tactics quickly become uninteresting which is why I would rather pay IEN.

Maybe that is why so few players are on line now.

    2 popoff & gawong.

You two should find third mate and form a marvelous bomber squad [IMG]
One of you will bring Ju52 to the field, while two others bomb it from hi-skies.

All the small fields will be yours!

Surely, if you want some cover, invite fourth that becomes escort fiter.

Further more, invite some additional people and move the mud at medium and large fields.

I fly for the needs too. If my country is dominating the skies, I take a bomber and head for any base. If I see a massive mission, I try to join, if I must, I take a fighter. If they ask me to, I take a JU.
At least this way WB will never be boring [IMG]

About the squad stuff..that's the way. I find these things really cool. But I cant hit my foot with a bomb either, and my lag doesnt let me be a good fighter.. [IMG]
