I have 2 tracks saved. I would like to play them as well as email them to someone. But I noticed that I see the tracks in the FH launcher but when I go to the track folder, they are not there. I also noticed that when I try to play the track in the FH launcher, it stalls out. The computer pauses for some seconds and then takes me back to the WB screen where the credits are scrolling upward on the left and the player is given the option of going online or head to head and etc.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? How did you fix it?

    Thanks in advance

So I should use an older fh launcher? Installing an old launcher will not affect the game? What about the file issue ?I see the file in the launcher but it is not in the track folder.

    single warbirds, multiple launchers.

check shortcuts, though. they could replace each other. make different shortcuts yourself.

Does your fh170 launcher actually save the tracks? It seems like mine does not. I see it in the launcher but in the C:\Program Files\FH\FreeHost Launcher 1.700\Tracks folder, all I see is the intro and the demonstration tracks

woops, I guess I need to brush up on my webinese.
Anyway, so your fh1.7 records tracks? Mine says it does and I can see it in the launcher but tracks folder does not contain the file. Do you have any other ideas?

I think I may know what the problem is, is your track folder set to "read only"? Mine is. What is funny is that even when I uncheck the "read only" box, when I return to the menu to confirm the folder settings it still says "read only"

Nevermind, the answer is this for those that also have the same issue.

The reason why no tracks show up is FH does not have administrator privileges as. A quick solution is to run FH by right clicking and choosing "Run As Administrator". The slightly longer solution is to give your user write privileges over the track folder.

This all applies to Windows 7 or Vista. I have used XP before and never encountered this issue with freehost

This is something that needs to be fixed so our new pilots are not getting frustrated about viewing tracks. I just copied the older version of the track player into the area where my tracks are stored. We really do need to get this fixed somehow.

Wait, so you can play tracks in 1.7 now? So far, I have been saving them then moving them to the 1.67 track folder and then playing them with FH1.67. What files did you move?

I downloaded and installed the 1.67 version and then copied the track player into a separate folder of 1.70. I then copy the .trk file I want to play into that folder.
