    Yakovlev Yak-1 series 111 (Yak-1B) – development of Yak-1 series 20


    Kawasaki Ki-45 KAId "Toryu"– heavy fighter-bomber and interceptor

    Still without graphics and cockpit. Used Beaufighter and Bf 110 respectively


    Savoia-Marchetti S.M.79 series II "Sparviero" – Italian medium and torpedo bomber


    Gloster Meteor III – British jet interceptor and fighter-bomber


    Hurricane II USSR modification – lend-leased fighter-bomber



    Removed Airplanes

    Yak-9T for Yak-1 series 111 (see Yak-9D)

    Fw 190 F-8 for Kawasaki Ki-45 KAId "Toryu" (see Fw 190 A-8)

    Hurricane IID for Meteor III

    Hurricane IIB for Hurricane II USSR modification



    New airplanes as modifications of already existing ones

    Pe-3bis, long-range interceptor, placed into Pe-2 series 206

    Il-2I, experimental fighter, placed into Il-2 with NS-37

    I-16 Type 24 placed into I-16 Type 28

    As experiment with flight performance:

    Bf 109 G-2/R6 added into Bf 109 G-2

    Bf 109 G-6/R6 added into Bf 109 G-6

    Bf 109 G-14/R6 added into Bf 109 G-14

    MiG-3 (5 dots) added into MiG-3

    For each of experimental variants gun pod ballasts added for modeling decreasing of performance.



    Performance

    LaGG-3, La-5, La-5F, La-5FN, La-7 – completely new credible performance stats are set

    Now La's are strict, but performance is better than Yak's (except LaGG-3 :-D)

    Turn time, 1000m, 75% fuel:

    LaGG-3 22-23s

    La-5 22-23s

    La-5F 18.5-19s

    La-5FN 18.5-19s

    La-7 18-18.5s

    WEP/Takeoff mode:

    LaGG-3 total time unlimited, continuous 5 min, cooling 5 min

    La-5 total time 10 min, continuous 5 min, cooling 5 min

    La-5F total time unlimited, continuous 10 min, cooling 20 min

    La-5FN total time unlimited, continuous 10 min, cooling 20 min

    La-7 total time unlimited, continuous 10 min, cooling 20 min



    Bf 110 G-2 and Bf 110 G-2/R3 (/R4) – credible performance stats are set



    Beaufighter Mk. IC – completely new credible performance stats are set



    Il-2 with NS-37 – underrated engine fixed



    He 177 A-3/R2 – completely new credible performance stats are set

    Stall characteristics improved



    Pe-8 with AM-35A prod. 1941 replaced by Pe-8 with M-82A prod. 1943

    Altitude characteristics lowered



    F4U-1D – performance of WB 2.77r3 set except fixed pitch handling

    F4U-1A – performance of WB 2.77r3 F4U-1D set (without WEP) except fixed pitch handling

    F4U-4 – performance of WB 2.77r3 set except fixed pitch handling



    Ki-84-I – performance of WB 2.77r3 set except fixed top speed



    N1K1-Jb, N1K2-Ja – new performance stats set. Required re-checking across multiple sources



    Bf 109 – stall characteristics taken from WB 2.77r3



    Li-2, DB-3F, Pe-2 – able to continue flight on one engine



    P-39D-2-BE – new credible performance stats are set



    Ki-44 – new performance stats are set, more appropriate for interceptors



    Fw 190 D-9 – pitch control fixed (finally located that parameter which differs from A-8)



    Spitfire Vb – speed and altitude characteristics according to more precise data

    Spitfire IXc – speed and altitude characteristics according to more precise data



    Bf 109G6 – roll rate improved





    Damage map:

    P-38 – dimensions of nose battery normalised

    Beaufighter – dimensions of cannons normalised

    Numerous minor fixes



    Weapon loads:

    All guns set to d8±0.2 distance (static fire on the ground)

    La-5/5F/5FN/7 – added light load with 40 rpg

    Yak-9T – moved into Yak-9D. Note gun pod ballast despite motor location of NS-37. Needed for decrease of performance in comparison to Yak-9D

    Yak-1B PVO, lightened for Air Defence – placed into Yak-1 series 111

    Bf 110 G-2/R3/M1, Bf 110 G-2/M1/M3, Bf 110 G-2/M1/M5, reinforced interceptors –placed into Bf 110 G-2/R3 (/R4)

    Il-2 field modification with gunner – placed into Il-2 prod. 1941

    Fw 190 F-8 – moved into Fw 190 A-8

    Beaufighter Mk. IC received torpedo

    Yak-1 series 20 – bombs are limited to FAB-50

    LaGG-3 series 11 – rockets upgraded to RS-132, bombs are limited to FAB-50

    C.202 series I, early lighter series – placed into C.202 series VII

    C.205V series I, early lighter series – placed into C.205V series III

    Ju 52/3m – three load variants: 9, 18, 28 paratroopers. "9" and "18" have MG 131 top turret, "28" has MG 15 top turret.

    ??-2 – three load variants: 9, 18, 28 paratroopers. "9" has UB turret, "18" has UB turret and ShKAS axis-gun, "28" has ShKAS turret and ShKAS axis-gun.

    Me 262 A-1a – added 2*500kg bombs as Me 262 A-2a

    Ki-27b – weapons set as for late series: 7.7mm + 12.7mm. Bombs added



    Cockpits

    Ju 52/3m cockpit is updated for S.M.79 – added gun-sight and bomb-sight

    DB-3F cockpit is updated – added gun-sight (for using torpedo sight)

    Temporary cockpit for Pe-8 from DB-3F

    New cockpit for Beaufighter

    New cockpit for LaGG-3/La-5

    New cockpit for Il-2 (beta version)

    Li-2 redefined to use cockpit of B-17. Switched to USA metrics

    LaGG-3, La-5 redefined to use secondary cockpit of Yak-1 instead of P-40

    B-17 cockpit has rear and rear-right views from B-25



    Miscellaneous

    Various typos fixed.

    General direction is going to WB2.77r3 flight model style for rotation inertia, stall characteristics etc.

    For all airplanes max-G revised: planes are somehow harder to break on high-G manoeuvres. Numerous minor fixes and additions due to more precise data for various airplanes such as masses, fuel quantity etc.



    Plans for FHLauncher 1.682

    Spitfire – analyse realism of performance (suspected lack of speed)

    N1K-J – analyse realism of performance (performance in general)

    Introducing various AA-Jeep weapons

    N1K- i was looking for more sources, i asked guys from TW too, but with this plane is rly problem- almost no data available :( That's bad because what i read in pilots interviews, N1K was rly great plane, much much better than Hellcats, but not for novices.

    fas says that in 1.680 in duel of N1K vs F6F he will stake for Shiden.

    Cocpit on based ju52 avail, and will be publicated. But now have some
    problems with sharehosts, i think - tomorrow will be avail.

    Fw190A8 has 8x50 load which is 6x50 actually.

    Yak9D has Ya9T in slot with gunpod, which is allowed to drop out.

    What is the reason to keep 109G2/R6, 109G6/R6, 109G14/R6 if all of them were placed to appropriate serie?

    What is the difference between Ju52 with 9 para vs Ju52 with 18 para?

    Imho it was very good in last fh , problem here is in f6f . F6f is bad.

    Agree , and Fas and all others who worked on new planes. Tnx to Hugob also for new beau cockpit:@prayer:

    gloster meteor?! If i download new FH will that stop me from still being able to play online unless the changes are applied to the server?

    Had some time to dink around with 1.68 beta release, and I only have one word to say about it. KICKASS! :super:

    The only problem I have found so far is that the Li-2 still has difficulty flying on one engine. Maybe it's because I have 1.68 installed in a different folder and the core gets confused about what model to use, but 1 Sep. I'll put a fresh install with 1.68 only on and see if that changes things.

    You need install 1.68 into another folder than 1.67.
    And you can start both variants FHL.

    I have all FHL installers from 1.64 on.
    If we need to change FHL, or if I want to play a different version, I install it into another folder and play.

    I have windows 7 and noticed that when I clicked "practice offline", an error appears that tells me to install warbirds 277r3 build2. But I already have this on my computer. In fact, I installed it before installing FH.

    By the way I have FH 1.68 (I removed 1.67)
