It's ONLY bad for those who are not used to working for a team effort. Working alone closing/capturing fields? Might as well do that offline. :dunno:

There are still the attendance numbers as usual. :duel:

I passed through LA. I asked my buddy, "what the fuck are those graffiti bombed, prison fenced look kinda like roads with no cars and steel fencing and a trench in the middle and no sidewalks and and and, what the fuck is that?" My friend explained that sometimes, it pours in California.
SO that means it never rains in California. but it pours? And he said, yep, it pours, but they warn ya....
You telling me, either of you guys, that it is normal to have 15-25 players on?
    No.
I love to see 25 players. I love it when I am one of them.
But it doesn't happen as often as I would like.

In principle it sounds (sounded?) like a good idea. I suppose it sort of counters the situation where a field is hit and some planes loiter and vulch until other planes arrive to close the field.

Or when a field is too far from the next field to bring defending planes in time, so sending troops to repair it quicker gives that side time to recover.

Maybe this is good when there are not very many players.

I wonder what happens when a troops from the attacking side are dropped at the same time engineering troops are dropped by the defending side.

Do they fight each other? Do the engineer keep working even when enough of the opposing paras make it to the tower?

Cool if we could transfer to one of the troops with that 45 cal pistol as in the Beau and go shoot the opposing troops. Ha ha ha... further complications. Sorry.

I have just flown the db3 on a bombing mission. It is unbelievably bad. Cant control this plane at all. worst plane in freehost. Reds hate it. why was it changed??? Anybody test this plane before making changes?

Same story with ju52. still smashes into the ground. NOONE FLYS IT. Italian bomber, only 1 player flies it in 3 months, was mumble, he was drunk imo.

b25 is ok, b17 is ok too. DON`t TOUCH IT, pls.
Bring back old fm. old ones better than new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

game gets worse, not better, less players! LOL. :dura:

    +1 for ju52 auto-trim bugs.

+1 for db3 flight model, it's important to make more "friendly" at take off. I have tried to take off on it at least 8 times when I got idea how to follow.

The DB3 is ok to take-off, compared to the horrible Italian Stallion SM79.
If you throttle up, it will plonk it's nose in the ground.

You need to sneak power unto it, and after tail lifts, apply more power.
    Else, plonk.

DB3 is no fun to fly though... it has got a tad of the old N1K1 sickness of oscillating badly when in autoclimb, Also seem to climb very slow... But I might recall incorrect.

JU52 I tried once since the new launcher. It does not plonk, but can't keep levelflight.

I also need that "superuser" status in Training arena to educate new pilots, to show them how to perform some maneuvers please.

    Usually at sea.
Reinforcing the Ju-52 autotrim error calls, which of course many people have already discovered. It will plonk if any autotrim is used, because it will trim to a heavy negative pitch. Awful to fly.

    Other issues for all aircaft:
    1. trims....
They are modeled way wrong. Right now, they function like "at will" maneuverability flaps providing extra turning ability equivalent to extra elevator surface. Trims as I understood were for correcting trajectory of the aircraft, not for dogfighting. Right now they function like pitch and yaw, returning to zero position when you let go of the button.

    2. Elevators:
When elevator falls off, many aircraft still respond to elevator input. ???

2.imagine elevator felt-off partially, and partially remains.

    oops. wrong picture...

    here's correct two

    trimmer included.

    1.trims...

the problem that ien programmed is easiness of their use, while IRL it was a quite slow control to tweak.

we can zero trim range, trim keys would be ineffective, but it will kill autopilots and dive trimming.

rare IRL fighter had an autopilot, but trimming out of dive is important feature. players will kill developers.

I wish that could be the case in WB :shuffle: I've had one hit from a 20mm and lost: vstab/hstab. Something wrong there.

I know it's old news but, with two BIG vstabs and one HUGE hstab on the P-38, it would be nice if when one vstab gets hit, rather than losing both rudders or entire vstabs from separate damage, have reduced responsiveness with "half" effectiveness like with ailerons.

Trim function wasn't always like it is now though. I remember being able to set trim and have it stay, like in offline mode.
Why is auto trim response so poor on the P-38? If it was like IRL, the elevator is what is controlled by auto pilot.
