I played last week and all was well. Now, it asks for a nick. When I put in my nick it says its already in use. Is my nick somehow stuck or did my nick get usurped! (secretly stolen) Thanks for any help in this area.

    Perfectly normal.
Almost as annoying as the ItHatesMe ® Wireless Router upstairs.
If you want to say hi in play, just look for hlpqbq. For now. Until next time I play, usually as red. Look for a Snoopyplane with a FW190 or 109 Ki64 above and behind it, that is me and ItDoesntMatter ®, usually gold.
Don't steel the gold player's kill, you will get your chance later. Just look for another snoopy and the nick syzamp.

check carefully whether you input the same login
it asks for nick only for new logins, that for example can happen when login typed incorrectly.

Sounds like you created a new login name. Probably typed incorrectly, like exec said. I've done that before.

    example:
    login name: john
    password: doe
    nick: john

    you typed in:
    login name: john
    password: deo
    nick: "new nick ID"

If you try to type in a new nick for the arena, it'll think you're a new user trying to use someone else's nick ID
    see the difference?
