What's the difference between Celtic's fans and Ranger's fans? Religion? Place of residence? Or intelligence?
Hmmm, where to start Religion is a big factor for Rangers. They had a policy for 100 years not to sign Catholics until they were threatened with expulsion from European competition. Some of the greatest ever Celtic were Protestant, so its never been an issue for most Celtic fans. Residence doesnt really come in to it, except for the fact that there are areas of Glasgow that are Protestant 'strongholds' (and therefore is largely Rangers) and Catholic strongholds, which are traditionally Celtic supporting. Most of the city is mixed however. Intelligence of course is the biggest factor. Frankly, Rangers are a disgrace as a club. Their fans have associations with right-wing fascists, there is the afore-mentioned sectarian policy which was employed by the club itself until the 1990s, and they have been involved in rioting in various European cities. In fact, Rangers are the only winners of a European competition who were not presented with the trophy. Their fans ran riot in the Nou Camp. In contrast, 80,000 Celtic fans converged on Seville for the UEFA cup final a couple of years ago, and there wasnt a single arrest on the day of the game even though Celtic got beat 3-2. In addition, such was the good nature of the Celtic fans when they played Villareal the season before last, that there is now a Villareal Celtic Supporters Club, and all Celtic fans have been invited to the annual Villareal fiesta in September. If I wasnt already going to Spain next Tuesday, I woulda went myself
Anyone who comes from the Czech Republic to play in Scotland will usually be more technically-gifted than your average Scotsman I had only heard of Skacel and Pospisil, I think they both played at the weekend (Skacel scored). I'll keep my eye out for Bednar and will let you know how he gets on
Uppps just check. Roman has played in the first 2 games of the season, and scored in one of them. He's an awfy big lad, eh?!
Talk a walk down to Ibrox any match day and you'll see the knuckle-draggers in person. Just watch that you dont step in the sectarian bile that spews from their mouth whenever they approach Mordor though
hey, I posted that first you $%&^*#$!@$#^&*#@#&^&^ http://forum.wbfree.net/forums/showthread.php?t=27999
Brazil of course @ jo: You have some of the best individual players in the world in your team. But that is their biggest problem - they are all individuals
Soccer sucks.... They pass, and then they....pass.....up the field....down the field.....PASS! pass! PASS!.....HOLD! HOLD! HOLING! KICK!...BlOcKeD! Mass riot insues.
