Just put it up on a free server. I use several accounts at angelfire, tripod, etc., it does the job.

    Hi,

Finally, I can post the link to my noisy creation. Here it comes:

    http://www.angelfire.com/alt/marcinpietruch/dh98.mp3

(Download Accelerator doesn't work with it)

This somewhat lyrical piece is supposed to reflect the feelings
a DH98 pilot might experience during a high speed flight, passing fields of clouds, high beyond the reach of Messerschmitts :)))

    Auto-preview:

    Title: Flight of DeHavilland Mosquito.
    Genre: Electronic

    Tune: 7
    Skills: 4
Sounds: As in the title, mosquito itself ;-))
Sound quality: 6, the original before downloading 8 (smoother).

Composed & performed (all instruments) by Daedal :))

Please tell me what do you think about the piano sound. I created it out of a two-oscillator synthesizer and I've got no idea whether it is a decent or rather crappy piano immitation.

Here is my review of Nicae's song.

Man, this matchbox kicks ass really. I'm a matchbox fan since yesterday ;-) I've always thought that simplicity in music is a great idea. The melody is pretty good, especially at the end of the piece, it resembles me songs of 1970s. Little technique imperfections add some flavour to the song (I hate this sterile quantised modern electronic crap). I'd like to hear some more songs from you Nicae, with a matchbox of course ;-))))

    Salute!
    Daedal

    Hi,

Jacobe, this piece sounds powerful! Interesting use of silence. Here's the content of my mind immediately after listening to it:
    - vast space
    - travel by a vehicle through flat areas like prairie for example.
    - somehow it brings the American midwest to my mind more than Middle East.
    - it reminded me J.M.Jarre's Globetrotter and Eldorado , although your piece is completely different.

I like the octave-based resonant bass sequence. What synthesizer did you use for that?

    Greetings,
    Daedal

    P.S

Could I ask you to tell me how to place an mp3 file on angelfire? Is it free? I've posted my piece on another server earlier but it seems ppl have problems with downloading it (no feedback since Wednesday).

    hehe ,thnx daedal :)

the sitar sound there was made with rolandgr-30 guitar synthesizer and the whisling sound came out from didgeridoo ,which we sampled and rised the tone up by 5 octaves ..

ps.angelfire is free for 20 megs

Haupt, I've never had a chance to listen to it. Is it in similar style to Istambulimia ?

Because of some problems with downloading reported, I moved my piece to angelfire. You can download it from here:

    http://www.angelfire.com/alt/marcinpietruch/dh98.mp3

The description of the piece you may find in my earlier post.

    Greetings,
    Daedal

    Hello,

Thanks Jacobe for the link. I'm now downloading your Dreamscape :))

Kutya, I've just heard your version of Nicae's song. I liked is so much that I added my electric organ to it ;-) Maybe it doesn't sound quite professional but hell, it was unbelievable fun to play this organ with your guitar ;-))))

Here's the extended version of Nicae's Song:

Nicae: composition (I'm still waiting for your matchbox pieces Nicae ;-))
    Kutya: guitar
    Daedal: electric organ

    Enjoy :)
