    Nope. I think some Great Patriotic War aircraft were nice looking. A good example is the MiG-3


    LaGG-3, in my opinion, was pretty.

    There is an ascetecism peculiar to Russians. Seems, at least in the 'old days' Russians had a different idea of what was meant by 'streamlined,' and it wasn't ugly, just, well, different that Britain [which also seems to have had a national view of what was 'streamlined' and what was not] or France or Italy [yet another with a different 'view'].

    Oh, and, YEAH, the thing in the picture IS ugly.

    Looks like Ił-4 but has V engines no star-engines (and bombardier windows has diffrent shape), maybe it is a Ił-6 prototype

    Nope- the IL-6 prototype had different propellers (3-bladed) and longer engines (diesels), the fuselage was also different (almost the same as in DB-3).
    These engines look more like DB-601 (or 605) or Japanese Ha-40 to me.

    A bit odd looking maybe, but nice IMO
