    I read that book years ago. I may still have it some where back in the paperback piles.

    I was not impressed. If memory serves he was not much of an ace.

    My impression he was more of a Nazi than a pilot and he came off as a propagandist.

    This Youtube film is almost as hokey as the book....

    It is funny....

    Yea, 52 kills including 19 "viermots" is not much, really :).

    Great read this book. One of the best wwII aviation memoirs.
