    SidewinderPro force feedback stick.

    The game works fine until I have rebooted, then it stalls on the welcome screen.
    GRRRRR.

    Gonna see what the patches available will do....

    IIRC some people ran IL-2 (original version, not FB or other add-ons) on Celeron 300, so CPU is probably not an issue.

    I think it's because it's Dell :(

    It ran on this machine befroe, back when I used windows 98.
    How do I find version. I have looked in readme files and the hard-on-the-eyes [stupid cheapo-cheapo] adobe acrobat format manual thingie. I have looked in "credits" from in the game. I looked on the box [which is gilt and flash only].

    again, where should look for version number?
    [that's another thing, I have downloaded every fuckin' patch I could from the main site. I don't use any of them because
    1) the instructions for use are totally insane
    2) I don't know what version I have
