When playing (not necessarily WB) there is a noticeable delay of in-game control movement whan compared to in-hand control movement. I think i have seen this in every sim i've played. Is it a game issue or a controller issue? Can this be got rid of? edit: No dumpers, no scale, no nothing set, raw (i suppose) joystick data used.
Possible cable conecting your joystick with computer is too long. I suggest you make it shorter at most to 1 km.
Haha, funny I cut the reaction time by switching from gameport quickshot to evo, but after 1,5 year the lag started being considerable, and i'd like cut it down more.
maybe your joystick deadband... if im right, this is hard to solve, its related to the slow degrading of joystick mechanical components (the hard punishment creates a gap between stick movement and actual sensors movement...)
It occured to me a lot of times. I do not buy expensive joysticks because the price, so I pay about Us$20, goods joysticks, but that live about 1 year. My first joystick had a life of 3 years.
The joystick is very good, the delay i was talking about was 0.25 - 0.5 sec (i suppose a standard value for a joystick) i only thought someone knew how to cut it down a little bit. It's not the stick that is wearing out, it's me that now could use shorter response time.
Hm... Theoretically, USB joysticks are faster than gameport ones, because the way the computer reads gameport position (Using polling). But i dont know about real world data regarding the speed differences...
