    i'm just curious ;)

    1. tabahost is made in C++ ?
    2. taba is using same files that Freehost, ok. But what if you would like to add new planes? there will be separate instalation for FH and TBH?
    3. how much Taba depends from Freehost? do you have to modiffy TBH if there will be new FHL released?
    4. what are plans for new features in TBH? New planes, new features ?
    5. How can i help you? :D

    1- Tabahost is made in ANSI C.
    2- Tabahost dont use Freehost files, it only use FHL (if u mean FHL = freehost files, thats ok).
    3- Tabahost is totally independent from Freehost, even from FHL, but you can use FHL to fly with new planes etc...

    answer for lamers:
    the game is build using client-server architecture, with two easily distinguished (and separate) parts.

    part no 1 is server with network support, damage model, scoring and game rules.

    part no 2 is client with network support, joystick support, nice graphics, flight model, weapon kits and ballistics.

    initially itmo and aike replaced part no 1 so part no 2 could connect to their own servers with minor modifications on client side.

    then ien made switching part no 2 very hard, so farid programmed fhlauncher to accomplish hard work of redirecting of part 2 to connect to aike's server automatically.

    then new fh planes (being a separate fhdevelopment branch before) were incorporated into fhlauncher.

    then came franz and coded yet another alternative part 1.

    fhlauncher ideology is built the way, so part 2 can connect to franz's server if wanted.

    fh team consist of four parts:
    1.server programming team
    2.new planes development team
    3.historical and techical consultants
    4.archer with forum ;)

    new planes development and old planes correction is in hands of team no 2.
    planes modifications are available simultaneously for users of both servers, aike's and franz's (due to fhlauncher ideology).

    -+->Well, plans a lot... is just a matter to get a meeting beteen those WB Anonymous that a bunch of ideas come... some go to 2do file, some go to bottom of beer glass...
    -+->planes... well, is there some "implicit" (never stated) agreement between TH devs that we will NOT try to open the misc.*** stuff, either misc.bin, misc.fh and so on at files thathold planes information... BTW we (and I can speak for all THdevs and all TH OP's) would love to see some new planes, in order to get more horizon at playability... (-exec- has a very nice theory about the kind of games you can find at FH-TH servers... worth a lecture :) ). but at this time and for the near future, we rely at rgreat staff work... personally I disagree w/ some things, but I belive they are doing a (r)great job on it...

    ->check the forum regularly and participate of threads giving your thougts about the way the things are going...
    and last but not least:
    join the scenarios leaders (tigrou, hilmar, laxtsc, sonicx, redbull -if he agreed to join us also besides his duties at FH scenarios) and propose new scenarios... simple, complexes, doesnt matter... we desperatly need to test it, in order to offer to community a stable and reliable second option of WB game experience. :)

    ienemy made cluster bomb, but did not used it. it has large splash radius and not high damage points.
    rgreat made similar bomb that has even bigger radius and high damage, naming it nuke.
    i tried some beta-version offline. it almost closed big field, but radio hut survived. however, radiohut was swept only after 4th bomb. also, airplanes nearby always have engine1 killed and no other damage. so fighters are doomed. my b-24 was able to continue flight.
    anyways, nuke availability is a question of FE KIT, therefore it is out of domain of TH Svr-team.
