Hey Vadim, you need only to chose your slot. Each slot have 2 or 3 planes for use and anyother decision about use of planes/slots will be a CO work during the event!

    General Information
We have TS and the way to use it is:
    1. click 'connect' > click 'quickconnect'
    2. server adress > digit 'tabajarahost.servergame.com'
    3. nickname > digit 'your nick'
    4. click 'connect'

Note 1: You don't need the fields 'loginname' and 'password' to connect in the TS!
Note 2: To connect in group channels you'll need a password and this will be the same name of the CV (ex. f3 > password > akagi), except in the island, when you have to use password 'east'

    Ok -mixer!
Our next and final roster will be divulged at 17GMT.
    There are 20 slots open!

    Note 1: For technical reasons the night period (10min) will occur in the begining of the game;
Note 2: Before the begining of the game the Game/OP will set the arena with the definitive fleet routes. In this moment all the players will be kicked, but you will be able to return in 2min to the 'start game comand'.

    bb.
    Hilmar.

Well guys, scenario was going fine when finally the SIGPIPE reappeared...

well, this time I was watching and I catch the problem. Also I got a mistype in server SIGPIPE handler...

After scenario I made a test to see what server wold make if SIGPIPE became again. So I see, the problem seems to be fixed, and no more bugs like this would appear.

I appologize those who were flying at TH, but we know that every program have bugs that have to be solved... If this bug really doesnt appear anymore, I'm proud to say, TH wont be more BETA and it will work like should be, with RPS, mapcycle and so on.

All that happen today - good or bad - gave me a nice feedback, talking as pilot. Most of us had a valuable learning today in a wide aspect. I could notice many things that make me think and now I'm having much to suggest.

This scenario was confirmed few days before it took place. This had increased a bit more the "normal workload" implicit to this kind of event. I saw pilots, admin and scenario organizers doing your best and workarounding the odds and was very happy with it. We have a gooood participation. Lone players, squad teams and newcomers; all took your place. Today we had a few important issues addressed and we have good things to come.

I'm taking some notes and have many ideas to suggest, mainly about minor details. Wish have time to organize and post them. Don't forget to charge it on me. I'm very happy in use TS, fly with comrades and fight against fine pilots. This is totally different from normal flights. I suggest a remake of this scenario in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Now gonna be easier manage the event, say for organizers, admins and flyers,

For now, it would be great have all the flyer's (and non flyers) feedback!

    Maybe some points:
-CV's were near, maybe distance between US CVs and JNAF CVs would be larger, imho 2x, and fuel quantity would be 2x too. it was very easy find enemy CVs at least for me.

-maybe CV's position would be slightly changed after arena reset, it will be little historicaly uncorrect but everybody knows where CVs were in battle of midway.

-ikon distance D10 was cool, I was habituated on D15 from MA and imho D10 is better.

THX to admins, I would like join to next Midway battle if it will be at weekend.

GL brave pilots of wildcats and SDBs.

rgr! btw in the original plan (not done becouse none did want to do that) each admiral must set the routes of its CVs, each one... franz made a way to allow that more or less easy to implement... due the fact none take over the fleets, hilmar and me decided to use the routes I have done to test it, so we both did know the routes at this time, I hope next we can have secret routes! :)

idem, at this edition of midway event at TH I didnt put CVs at original (real) positions

    :)

    welcome :)

How about setting some wind on arena? I know wind in WB has the worst possible modeling, but it still would add some fun have cv turning (at admiral's command) into the wind for takeoffs and landings :)

    Hi!
As everything at Th, if most want to test, will be tested, if most want to stay, will be there...

AFAIR, the passed away 3O3, in a lend-lease term at Th, tested wind... at least, one of the pilots (sry cant recall) asked me to put some wind at Th...but I did some mess that was impossible to take off from CVs, but I promise never more to put tornados at arena... just a soft breezes... :D

I too felt placement of forces a bit near. Due this I, too, thought about winds to this scenario.

Concerning distances and fuel issues wind can be much interesting. Maybe we can set such a wind that you counterbalance the CVs proximity. Dunno now wich direction could be cool. Forces initially are in West/East placement - at least in this weekend setup. In this case a wind in the W/E or E/W heading will penalize one side and asist the other. A neutral direction wolud be N/S and S/N wind heading or any other angle: SW, SE, NW, NE, etc...

One cool thing this scneario has, among many others, are the CV operation. Never did a CV land with wind and now I'm very enthusiastic with idea!
