    GREAT! What are the specs/performance?

    How many were made?

I like those bottom air intakes too.

Maybe we can have the otto gun Hur. just for the eastern front airfields?

No fucking way guys, only golds can have superpowered aircraft. 4xhisps gotta be enuff for us. Red planes cant win, historical reality.

I have a wild guess that in a role of a recon plane it had wing MGs dismounted ;) And that open canopy made him even slower. Russian pilots were absolutely unimpressed with Hurricanes in general: many guns, but of small caliber (range of effective fire is no more than 300 m), wing mounted -- high dispersion ratio, thick wing -- inability to dive and accelerate. Yes, it was reliable, but Soviet oils and fuels... you know ;) And with Germans preferring high speed vertical maneuvring Russians understood that with Hurricanes they just cannot dictate the development of a fight at will.

This is why Russians decided to "phase out" Hurricanes to less challenging roles -- as artillery recon planes (compare to FW 189 :)).
