i tried ports 21000-21007 on this ip 77.106.108.208 can this be related in any way to virtual interfaces like hamachi, or win7 (uac and firewalls off)
ok i can connect both 21007 and 21005 now dont know if that was the reason but i brought interface with active internet connection to the top of the list and rebooted

IL-2 choses the first connection in your connection list and tries to use that If you've got a bluetooth link there then it might try to use it and you'll get timeouts I just disable all other connections except the one I want it to use there's prolly some software way to combat that, don't care
yep, that was my first guess (after blaming server of course ) bringing the one with active internet connection to the top (in advanced network connections) was enough, and i have few links in there, just need to reboot, no matter if its xp, vista or 7 i thought maybe il2 has some ini option to use given interface.. but im rather n00b with il2 and have no idea about its config just yet
Hi, can anyone tell me how to install this? Do I need IL2FB version 4.09b1m before I can play on freehost? If so, can I download it somewhere? I downloaded the files on the link in the 1st post, but it says I need the version 4.09b1m to continue the installation. Thanks

If you click "yes" instaler will delete /MODS folder) 4 check /MODS - there should be one client folder - /_client_1_0b_20090210 - current version. Hello everybody ! Long time, no see. Several years ago the squad I was member of to that time, decided to switch from Wabirds 2.77 to Il-2 Forgotten Battles. Now I read on SimHQ about this Il-2 Freehost Mod. I'd like to get more information about it. How close is it to the Warbirds Freehost? Is there radar that has to be shutdown? Are there paratroopers?
