New release of IL2FH v1.00b

    Hi guys!
    There is new release on il2fh. I think this is last beta, next step will be squads, score pages and stable version of IL-2 FreeHost.

    Changes:
    # + New arena map from boRada
    # + Aqua fields is added in game (barmal)
    Aqua fields logic:
    * 1) Aqua cant be captured by paratroopers
    * 2) Aqua can be closed separatly from ground field
    * 3) When the groud field is captured, aqua field will be captured too, there is no need close aqua to cap ground field
    * 4) If aqua field was open while capturing of ground field, this aqua field will be closed for time while ground filed is closed.
    # + Button ReFly is now working properly (barmal)
    # + After death player will be switched to the briefing automatically (barmal)
    # + Now IL-2 HfreeHost supports RU and EN locales, if you have EN version of the game, you will see the EN chat messages and briefing, if RU, you will see Russian chat messages and russian briefing. To switch locale, jast add or remove folder _clent_Eng_Lang from MODS folder (barmal)
    # + Messages about fields status now are in chat (barmal)
    # + player cant set wrong army signs to the plane (Brix) Now you will cant fly blue plane with red stars.
    # + Confirmation on army change
    # + Single drop of the bombs from bomb bays. (SG_Wasy, SJack) Now the bombs from bays can be dropped one by one click, in standart IL-2 there is 2 bombs for one click.
    # + Confirmation on army change (barmal)
    # + Selecting of airplane and pilot skin now can be locked by server (barmal)
    # + AutoLevel on all aircrafts
    # + some other litle changes

    Oh, last thing was forget :D
    To close field now need destroy all targets on it - 100%.

    I can't log in now :(

    Installed the mod as usual, the same way I installed all the other updates.

    The game connects to the server, then it shows "map loading" but a window comes up with: "Connection terminated. the communication with the remote host is lost. Reason: Wrong mod detected"

    Any ideas? :/

    edit: I installed the patch, not the full mod. Will try the full mod now.

    edit2: The full mod fixed the issue, you should check if the update has everything needed.

    I will check update files, may be there is some bug.
    Use full pack, it is ok.

    And there is some another bug.
    While authorization on server is turned off, the utils like il2 connector and so on dont work properly. Do not use some utils to connect.

    So many Excellent changes and improvement

    like auto level, very useful for fresh il2 player like me, especially with planes with elevator trim only
    other changes are great too, aqua, skins, single bombs i like most

    some problem with other change (one from all)
    100% destroyed targets its much better than 60%, but after many yesterday JABO raids we couldnt close field some times
    just after destroing almost all target we had many time to look at field (all AAA dead) but no idea what still living,

    that causing ammo wasting by shooting to dead targets (maybe this static plane need more damage, maybe this AAA still living but not shooting, maybe this other few pixel object is important, etc.)

    btw in eng version briefing it still "you need destroy 60% targets"

    I have done some testing today, and I think the map has some bugs.
    For example F7 and F16 are the same fields, but >field f7 reports 32 objects, and >field f16 reports 33.
    The 20mm ack near rdr on F7 does not count into the objects on the field. The same situation is with the radar building on F16. You can close the field without destroying those objects. I also think that the 7mm ack near rdr on F16 does not count as an object, but I'm not sure about this one.

    There may be other issues, I only tested small fields and F16 mostly, a little of F7.

    Hello guys,
    really good work, thanks. First of all i really dont like the auto level command because of decreasing the realism. Second one is about moving objects in df maps mod. It is available and i hope admins will add this mod.

    auto level is great improvment, just use your imagination ;)

    neigbour, postman, kurier, tel., cig, toilet etc.
    and for example low lvl team fligt/cap etc. you will hit ground or show your and your mates position on radar
    you have icons here so realism wont suffer too much by auto level anyway

    you can never make everybody happy ;)

    This is a game, and in a game it is useful to be able to get up from your seat and be able to take a piss, or make some tea during a long flight.

    Besides this is just auto level, not auto climb. Stop whining already :p

    This is not a game for me, just simulation. In my opinion planning, tactical raids, dogfighting, recon etc are some parts of this simulation and FH server, so somethings already should be hard (at least similar). Thats why i want to see more realistic project. Anyway, thanks to the admins for developing this server and their efforts.

    PS:Al, stop talkin about whines or something like. Pls stay in discussion mod which as being in forums.

    try whine about icon first, then ill understand all this -i want more "realism" demands

    ill like realism too, just press one button and do some realistic things like cup of coffe ;)

    Of course i prefer full realistic settings...but seems this is not good for WB players...

    I have nothing against the full realistic settings, but experience tells me that the harder the game the fewer players

    IL2 itself is quite difficult after which further impede the force of novice:)

    its not harder its just boring :zzz:
    with icons you can go low and fast into furbal and fell quite safe, without icons you need climb over all, and check any dot one by one,
    and dont forget: after failed attack pass leave your target and go to find more "blind" con ;)

    its my point of view, full realism + icons ;)
    exernal views and transparent cockpits ridiculous even for me
