:znaika: I have a challenge for you WBFH pilots, especially those that are veterans or have extensive experience. Play the game offline on the WBSTHPAC.TRN map. Go to the area indicated by the crosshairs on the map.

Its a submarine. Set your country to gold. First you need an unmovable spawn point that does not shoot at you or the enemy. Divebomb the submarine with a powerful egg to destroy it(with whatever plane you want). Once it respawns it will no longer move or shoot. Open the radio bar and type ".offrps add ki43". Set the game to "Air Attack" and set drone level to "ace". Here is the most important part: you absolutely cannot attempt this mission with anything other than F4F-3, Hurrican MkII, Mc-202, or D.520 otherwise it will be too easy. So here is your mission: you have to land (NOT crashland) at F7 alive.

Other settings that you must use:
    Blackouts-on
    Structural limits-on
    Unlimited ammo-off
    Invulnerable to weapons-off
    Unlimited fuel-off
    Fuel-100%
    Starting Altitude- 7000~8000 ft

When you die, post on this thread the location of how far you got before crashing.
Happy flying and good luck washouts :super: :fly2: :flyer: :dark:

I will start us off. Yesterday, I got to the narrow strip of water between the F12 island and F24 island where I was cut down by, you guessed it, several AI ki43 pilots

Just tried again. I did a lot better. I crossed strait between f4 and f7. I was downed right in front of base. The ack was shooting at cons but they did not get hit

    7 kills
    58 hits taken (in fuselage)
    score 7216

Next time I will record flight with fraps and post for you sissies :mafia: :mafia:

    Your salesmanship is inept.
    No honey; no fly

Hey, you are a smart guy. I have readed all of your words typed here. I think you have readed some of mine too.
Be aware, the web persona I have took for use here is Biles.
Okay, it was biles in Y2k.... Now is Hezey.
    Nevermind that.
I chose the nick biles becuase I could not use 'Bile'
My sense of things, my world view is bilious.
    My posts are too.
So, my replies are often in-character.
    Im am called Hezey Biles.
    I am bilious.
I have a belly full of bile.
    No sweat man.
Let us you and I be pals here. You are an asset here.
Let us hope your efforts can help this community.
And too, if I suck up enough to you, maybe once I get WBFH to work in WIndows8, you can show me how to succeed in this sim, as I wasn't every any good.
ALW hates* hezey biles, because he didn't "get" the bileuosness [is that a word?].
I regret that. He will never ever show me any tactics. Becuase some of my views offended him.
    I earned his loathing.
I don't want to earn yours.
I am hurt that ALW has proscribed biles.
I don't want proscription from you and yours.
    .
    .
    Peace brother.

*hate in web-slang. IE, not really hate just dislike. I don't be sure ALW hates anyone.

lol huh? I meant the challenge, did you try the challenge? It may seem easy but its pretty hard. The AI always respawns (sometimes near you, other times near your team mates) so you have to kill all but one of the enemies attacking you. Then you have to cripple the last one to near death and run as far away as you can. When they finally respawn you can use land features such as hills and valleys to delay the chase since they are afraid of ground collision. Hopefully this buys enough time to make it home:D. Flying against AI seems lame but it actually makes good entertainment. Its not like playing offline will cause you to miss the high paced action in the online arena that is loaded to maximum capacity haha ;)

Hmm fascinating. However I have a few questions:

What is the point in destroying the submarine?
What do we do after destroying the submarine, besides crash/land? Land and take off? From, where? Or is it an airstart situation?
For the most part, it seems fairly simple. :help:

Woops I did not mention altitude in the settings.
The Starting altitude is 7000~8000 feet.
I chose the submarine because this minimizes flak interference since it has only 1 40mm and 1 20mm. The submarine moves at some predefined speed E/SE. If you don't kill it your spawn position will drift further and further away from your base until eventually you no longer have enough fuel for the flight(assuming you attempt this multiple times which you will:D :D ). When you kill the submarine, it respawns as a dummy object that does not move or shoot at anything and can not be destroyed. This allows you fight without interference for as many times as you are willing to attempt........until the sun goes down on the map. Then you have to restart the game lol

I will update the original post with this info

    Tip #1
Do not fight continually. They will kill you every time. And when they dont kill you, you will exhaust your fuel supply from fighting so much. Instead, kill only the first wave of cons that directly attack you. Then run and get to land as fast as possible. Use hills and valleys to your advantage.

    Good luck
