Last time iґve been to Scotland, i drunk so much of that softdrink that i am missing it here in Germany. Thereґs no shop where itґs available here. We have british baracks here in my hometown, where an "naafi" shop is nearby - but i think itґs impossible for me to ask or buy "Irn-Bru" there, or? Should i ask a british soldier if he may buy it for me or am i get shot as soon as i ask him?
Please show some consideration for people from all around the world that would pay to live in Germany and drink some great beers everyday
C'mon muf-lo... the best ones come from the Czech Republic and Poland anyway (when it comes to lagers only of course) (drinks a little bit of Tyskie Książęce lager)
I'm sick tired to drink (commercial) lagers but I'd like to do an exception for Czech ones (which are no surprise) and Poland ones that are completely new for me. But I think I will die just only trying to pronounce that name!
Hey mate You can actually buy it on Amazon, believe it or not http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002JKW0C/103-8323245-3591064?v=glance It's quite expensive though and I dont know if they sell to outside the US, so your best bet would be to ask a soldier Here is some contact info for Barr's, the makers of Irn Bru. You could try emailing them for info 1306 Gallowgate Glasgow G31 4DS Scotland Telephone: 0141 554 1899 Fax: 0141 554 5768 Email: info@agbarr.co.uk Hope this helps -glas-
Here you go mate, there's a shop in Berlin that sells it http://www.expatshopping.com/shopping/DisplayPage?file=berlin
Lol - I didnґt even get the smallest idea to search at amazon.com for irn-bru But thanks for your help, mate. That shop in Berlin is the one with the cheapest of all offers iґve seen. ґThough itґs not cheap Thanks for the link - maybe i buy there. Iґm a little anxious to ask a soldier and he will laugh at a silly german
My nephew goes to Germany soon with the Army Im not sure where he is going to be based though, he is in the Scots Guards. Btw your better asking a Scotsman to get it for you, for 2 reasons: 1. A Scot will appreciate why your desperate to get a hold of it; and 2. An Englishman probably wont know wtf it is Lemme know what barracks you stay near, I could get my nephew to drop off a crate of the stuff if it's close to his barracks
That would be cool - if he is stationed near here i can show him the town and some locations in his (rare) sparetime here if he wants to. i PM you my location in cause of security reasons and i donґt know exactly the units that are stationed here for now. iґll acquire some knowledge and inform you when i know more cu in air
