jump won't change anything, because your trajectory is closed.
jump is action within gravitational field, but gravfield field is _potential_ that means that moving along closed trajectory won't make or require the work.
you could shift earth by jumping into kosmos and not returning to earth. that's another idea - reactive motion. that will have some effect theoretically, of course. but practical effect will be non-sensible.
so you have a choice between no-effect hopping and less than noticeable effect with leaving the planet.

hey! nice idea exec! :super: if 2 thousands millions people jumped off the planet.... even if the trajectory remains the same, it would be a solution..... volunteers? :D

i've got a better idea! Let's gather some people in exect time and let's all fart in this very moment! The gasses will surely change the trajectory of the planet, it would work like a giant rocket-engine .... it's brilliant! :D

With the earthquake of december the planet didn t change of orbit, but its rotation was faster for a few milliseconds, and the position of the axis of the earth changed thousandth of second of arc.

btw, pls dont forget use helmet and parachute, going at 1666 km h is dangerous :shuffle:

Dumb joke: "no, going at that speed is not dangerous, what is dangerous is colliding with anything while at that speed :) "

i've got a better idea. 2 billion dicks pushing at the same time vojtas' ass. That wouldn't move earth, but would be a hell of a fun :D
