On a of topic from brozs "the best" i got this idead.
what plane. are you the best in?

on note:

do not pick simply the best plane in game. or lammer plane unless its trully your best.

i want the plane that you know inside and out.
the plane you can make do shit most people dont know how to.
the plane that as soon as you strap it on your killing and skill protential goes up because you know what it can and cant do, and especialy what is assumed it cant do but u can.
the planeu know best how to use this against your enemies.

srry limited option seems i can only make 10 choices. i picked p38-p51 since p40 is the plane im most in tune with s far as knowing what it can do and how to exploit it and fly it always on the edge of a munver kill

 

Last ToDs i made streak 64 in yak and 62 in p39, so i guess those are my options However, when gold (buegghhh ), i like a6m and ki61.

And, of course, hvy buffs, like B17, B24, pe8....

The best planes are without a doubt the red ones for some time. Such as the f4u and typhoon.

But all the same, my favorite plane is the Fw190, ever since I seen the plane IRL at flight museums I have been hooked- the thing is beutifull in person- even more so than the famed p51 and spitfire. Its not the fastest plane anymore, but with either its 4 cannon armament plus mg's or a light fighter "you can bust out some dogfighting" its great. Sharp controls, and its neck breaking rate of roll.

If I flew red more often the p47 is my favorite. 8 mg's with 3400 rounds.......that spells good times no matter how you put it. Its not really the best- but If you get some altitude, almost nothing can catch it- plus even with poor aim anyone can make some of those hundreds of hundreds of 12mm hit SOMETHING....its just a fun plane.

I've seen you in reds in typhoon, and you got killed many times. If you can't do anything with a "so easy" plane, whether you suck or it ain't so über

 

P-38, P-51 and 190. The former are my favorites obviously, but I fear I might actually be most successful in the latter. 109 I also like. That rate of climb .... whooooosh!

 

Where's the Li-2 / Ju-52 option? I can get kills on them quite easily, specially on Li-2. It makes scissors quite well, and with its fast 7mm, you can put 40x7 on con before he re-aims on you

When I flew, it was always a 109 or 190. If i had to choose a plane, it'd be either the 109F4 or 190A4.

I'm kind of tempted to reinstall FH and go and buy a joystick, but with the fact that I'm gonna be on tour for a month, it wouldn't allow for much time.

 

Tough choice really, since I'm not good enough yet to take any plane to it's limits, but 109g2 is where my stats are best

Ki-84, in that I can at least fight back. In all others I just die better than most of you

 

My heart is with 109g2, 109f2 and ki84 (well ki61 to some extend too)

 

109F... Its a untouchable plane in 1941... sweet controls, easy and funny to fly. Eats Spits and Hurris in the breakfest...

Yak-3... Lutwaffe says "dont fight with Yak fighters that do not have radiators under the nose"... Something more to say?

Ki-84... A mustang killer in low alts.

Spitfire IX: Balanced, balanced and.. balanced (and two Hispano...)

P-51: Run, run, run... but only above of 5000 meters. Unhappyly, we dont have much action in these neighborhoods, in Freehost...

Tempest & Typhoon: Powerfull, but i dont fly with them... very "bidimensional", "flat", airplanes... with an "monolithic" style of flight... For me, they seem trains with wings...
