    There are problems with patching.

I have tried to set up a second Warbirds folder to use the new patches but this seems to confuse the .bat files and the IEN kernal.

Anyone know where, in the registry, WB details are to be found?

Also, I think these gun patches are a BIG mistake. They are a HUGE help to hackers who only have to look at the patch files to get a darn good idea how to fiddle with the planes. Too late now though.

This technology of patches is no longer used. Now you just need to download misc.bin. And that patch isn't upgraded anymore. But it is still available to use on FH.

And this patch can't be applied to misc.bin with yak1.

Just start Warbirds from that folder, press "Online" button, Warbirds will write path to itself into registry and run launcher. So, when you choose arena, launcher will know where warbirds.exe is placed.

    Hi Breedr,

Well, WB started up OK from the second directory - ikernal loaded but when I click on the arena WB starts to load then I get INVALID IP 212.1.224.39

This does not happen with the old installation.

You need to edit hosts file in windows.
Seems you don't use proxy in the second one, so you get that error.

Just start wbfree again after that. It will know where your warbirds.exe placed (It gets path to exe from registry).
