Id like that here you will post in the future the best few pictures of your newest film (or last month if youre with digicam). Let them not be on some particular theme. Thus we will see what the place you live now is like, or what is your life like...

    Thank you!

PS: My pics will come later - when I get to a scanner

PPS: Maybe biles will put a commentary to the pics? :)

    damnit.. is 6 a few?
It is said that choosing pictures is same difficult as making them.. Imho it is much more difficult. It's very hard to make some kind of objective assesment.

Some nice photos there. Just let me add one or two coments. First, start considering seriously moving to a black and white film. Second, not sure if it was you who printed the photos, but if possible try increasing contrast on them, specially in the first and in the last two.

I'll post some of mine in a few minutes, just have to install scanner first.

well.. actually 4 of them are B&W - however sometime are colors just ok

    ad contrast -
there are 3 problems conected - 1st: you have to pay back for it; 2nd: contrast is just one of syntactical principles and to say quite specific; 3rd: conditions (snowing, large fields of snow)

That's why I think contrast would give a nicer look. Specially because none of the mentioned photos have true-black in them (essential in b&w photographs imo).
Anyway, here are mine. I took them in october and printed in november (all darkroom work made by myself). They are the newest because end of year was crazy in univ, but i should get more in a few weeks.

    to say, I didn't want to lose the shadings of snow - seemed too empty then to me; but it would probably be better for whole photo in general;
    ty for advice

Nice pics, in contrary to fla I'd add some colour, right now there's only two colors in the whole scene so maybe you could add some sort of a misplaced shade somewhere... but of course, something that blends in with the rest of the photo... BTW, looks like a lovely place in the snow, been waiting for snow for quite some time, and finally we got a tiny layer of snow... ah well, gotta be pleased by the little :p kind of love snow

I love the pic of the front fla, really, great work, the other pics you posted stand in the shadow of that one pic IMHO...

@zembla. .. come to my shire if you like it :)
ad only 2 colors .. in such weather there are only two colors -- instead of grey tones there were in RL sort of dark shadowy green grey tones

about fla's pics .. I like the roof more:) but these are just subjective matters

Well Z... That's maybe because I've been shotting B&W only for 3 years already, got used to it and love it. Actually was B&W photography that dragged me to photography.

About my pics, I like the whell more :p

id expect on the poster to be written "Kara Mustafa wanted" :D
if it wasnt the betraying title "radegast" on the table cover. ;)

yup .. Velke Karlovice (name of village) are great :)... there is saying about czech nation ... "we are Slavs .. but western Slavs" .. ;)

courák .... ehm.. derivative from verb "courat", which means to saunter or brogue around... in its noun form - meaning slowdance (but common and sort of archaic czech)

i think i like best to see pics of social life/persons/daily architecture

here come the first few pics - from early November :)
they are taken in one day walk around Sofia center

voinitzi - soldiers running through the antiquities-black-market in center
pametnik - i realized recently there are many art sculptures and statues dispersed around the center, unusual for most cities
protest - another anti-privatization protest in front of the Ministry. this time the workers of the State Telecom.
    singing early-democracy ballads:
    "...
    i am not an anarchist,
    i am not an atheist,
    i am not a communist,
    and never will i beeeeeeee
    ..."

gvardeitzi - just a few meters from there guards in front of the Presidency change :)

    more soon
