BASIC RULES:

1. Squadron members fly different sides each ToD: one GOLD & one RED. Current side of the conflict is displayed at the title bar.
2. It is allowed to fly the other side of the conflict as long as it is under another nick and doesn't compromise the actions of SQ302. A pilot caught upon breaking this rule will be expelled from squadron for a period of one ToD.
3. Flying in pairs is crucial. "A lone pilot is a dead pilot".
4. We don't shoot burning and obviously disassembled planes (without wings, tail section etc.) giving the pilot the ability to bail.
5. We don't shoot at planes killed by other pilots.
6. We don't shoot chutes (apart from paratroopers from Ju52 & Li2).
7. Depending on the situation (orders from Squadron Leader, Flight Lieutenants or Action Leaders) we fly together or free.
8. We obey orders given by Squadron Leader, Flight Lieutenants or Action Leaders.
9. We read our forum.

This list will be modified if needed.

RECRUITING RULES:

1. Any pilot can join.
2. A new pilot is given the rank of Flight Sergeant (F/Sgt) and improves his abilities by learning from senior members.
3. Achieving streak 7 (shooting down 7 enemy planes without being killed (longest streak)) during one ToD (Tour of Duty - the length of one campaign from 1940 to 1945 on a single map) gives the pilot a promotion to Warrant Officer (W/O).
4. In addition a new pilot is being judged by senior members and Squadron Leader Miixch has the final word.
5. New pilots can be invited by any squadron member during the whole ToD.

RANKS:

Squadron has the following ranks:
Squadron Leader S/Ldr
- the rank of squadron founder and commander Emperor Miixch
Flight Lieutenant F/Lt
- streak of 50 or 30000 points by "monstr". Additionally a photo is required. Every pilot likes to know how his commanding officer looks like.
Flying Officer F/O
- streak of 30 or 15000 by "monstr"
Pilot Officer P/O
- streak of 15 or 8000 by "monstr"
Warrant Officer W/O
- streak of 7
Flight Sergeant F/Sgt
- rank given to candidates
There is a one promotion per ToD rule.
Promotions are given at the end of each ToD in form of reports on squadron forum.

Apart from the above there is a rank of Action Leader. It is given to highly experienced pilots who posses the ability to coordinate and take command of bigger actions. Every squadron pilot (apart from Squadron Leader and Flight Lieutenants) is obliged to follow orders given by Action Leaders during scramble, preflight briefing and combat flight in formation. The rank of Action Leader is given by Squadron Leader Miixch.

DEMOTIONS:

Apart from promotions we also have demotions as follows:
Flight Lieutenant F/Lt
- demotion by one rank in case of accumulating less than 3000 points by "monstr" during one ToD
Flying Officer F/O
- demotion by one rank in case of accumulating less than 1500 points by "monstr" during one ToD
Pilot Officer P/O
- demotion by one rank in case of accumulating less than 0 points by "monstr" during one ToD
Warrant Officer W/O
- demotions do not apply
Flight Sergeant F/Sgt
- demotions do not apply

In justified situations Squadron Leader Miixch has the right to make any demotion including exclusion from squadron.

Doing minimum 30 sorties is the basis of achieving any promotions or demotions.
