Going on the street against the war is a noble deed, but I'm afraid, GWB stopping the war won't happen. Too much $$$$ in the game...

I will attend a rally in Vancouver.
Nice thing about that town is I can dress up in lady's clothing.
I always dress like I am going to see the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" when I protest. No one would EVER mistake me for anything but what I am. A man with a bushy beard wearing lady's clothing and chanting. And the missing front teeth add a lot of character to my already brilliant costume, that I lacked many years ago when I first wore lady's clothes at a rally OR the ROcky Horror Show ;)
    I bring toast.
I never have to bring pot, because, well, it IS Vancouver I am going to and I AM wearing lady's clothes....

I am a redneck looking kinda guy, beard, missing teeth, i wear green pants with red suspenders: "he's a lumberjack and he's okay....."
    I got a plaid dress!
Anyway, I go in lady's clothing when I protest and I always find and hang with "Punks For Peace." They are a most accepting and accomodating group of social thingies.

    Fuck You - DOA

Fuckin A Biles. I'm in the same thing, our local punk scene is having an anti-war show tomorow. We're playing somewhere in that whole set.

Protest all you want my friends. I will join you. It is the most noble of causes in the world.

Fuck it all.... I'm SOOOO sick of the mess this Iraq/Terrorism shite has caused so far I'd say "Drop the fucking bomb already!"

Sometimes I get so depressed over things like this, I just wanna curl up and wait for what comes next.

Well Ronin, you know what? I'm kinda disappointed with myself as well..... But I gues we're up shit creek without a pedal. All of us.

I have spent so much time trying to convice people that war is bad and this entire situation might well run out of hand before we all know what hit us, but noone listens. I can see a tightly-knit international community like FreeHost erupting into turmoil over this crap... Imagine what life is like on AMERICAN forums?!?!?!

Today I got an email from a mailing list I am subscribed to, an American mailing list. You know what it said?
"First we nuke Saddam. Then we nuke the rest of the middle east. And after that we nuke Europe."

If only one person says these things, I don't mind. But this seems to become the general consensus in some areas nowadays. In Dutch it is called "vechten tegen de bierkaai", fighting a battle you can not win.

So Yeah, I'm kinda dissapointed as well. But I refuse to spend any more energy on this whole story. I'll keep a low profile and will be there to sift through the rubbles after this situation is resolved. One way or the other.

I will not stand for those against war.

    I will ask one question.

If you protest war, I assume you have a solution. If you don't have a solution then let those who do have a solution do their job.

Everyone thinks they have all the solutions when they have no clue.

If you think Saddam should stay in power, then it is our children that will just have to deal with the threat AGAIN.

Look, I am a true believer that it is just not right to gather people to protest a war with no solutions. Sure it shows to people that other folks fill uncomfortable about war. But it does not give the government an other solutions to fix the threat. And if you expect these protests to covince the countries to find another solution, you are waisting your time. Many countries tried to find a solution for 12 years, and now it is time for a real solution.

Why isn't anyone protesting, "Iraq Come Clean! Iraq come Clean!"

So once again, I fully support military action if it is the only solution, and I have faith in the specialist involved with these difficult decisions. I too, am protesting against anit-war protestors.

I have one solution, leave them as they are, eventually people stop from being alienated and start going against totalitary regimes. Maybe the first, the second the first thousands will be crushed by the regime, but the regime is not as powerfull as the masses.

Any country that lived under a totalitary regime knows what i'm talking about.
