TA Am I the only one who gets pissed off?

Scenario: Im in the training arena with some friends flying red and we are flying around with a new player smoke on. Teaching him some stuff. Here comes obi-wa flying red shoots us down. He chatted a bit and I asked him to go easy on the new flyer. "no hablas" was the reply, however he did not shoot at the new flyer that I saw. Then kriloe or something like that comes in flying red shoots us down while we are taking off. So I say "its customary to ask before starting free for all with same color in TA" no reply. Then lenine does the same thing. I said "if i want to get vulched I would play in MA" his reply "lol". Later after he gets shot down he ups in a foo. Wow... I bet he is the type that gets all the cheat codes to a new xbox game before even turning it on.

I have no repsect for pilots using TA as personal turkey shoot. It shows who the real turkeys are. I understand what the TA is for and I certainly dont shoot at other players without asking. Another reason we loose new players. I'll still play, Cant say the same for the new guy.

I feel for your disgust at the lack of sportsmanship here. The weak need to stroke thier egos to feel a bit more secure in themselves. They were hoping you and your friend would marvel at thier skills. Apparently thier actions did not achieve the desired effect.
Tell your friend to stick with it, this old sim can still be alot of fun. Dont let the 'few' get you down. Most here are secure enough to have a sense of good sportsmanship.

 

Definate reason for permanent banishment from the game.

I was test flying the He-177 in the TA couple of days ago when a red closed in on me from behind. He didn't shoot but he kept pulling closer and closer. As a .... precautionary move, I manned my 20 mm otto and zeroed my sights in on him as accurately as I could and vowed to blast him out of the sky if I saw so much as the beginnings of a muzzle flash from his guns. He never had a chance.

 

Hmmm, there should be some fixed set of rules for the TA. F.ex. only around F1 people can have a free-for all engagement. All other fields are for testing where no inconsensual combat is allowed.

Breaking those rules should mean a ban from the test arena.

would be nice, if somebody can create a documentation, how to behave at the TA.
if a big-majority agrees to the rules, i have no problem to ban pilots, who act in this way.

We have an agreement (An old one) that F1 is free for all.

Lenine was there before, engaging Rikman, and sky happened to enter the fray.

Dont complain sky, go fly f13, f17, northern part of the map is generally used for trainning.
