wow. it was quite a mess of threads i must check and sort to get the whole picture on watten and midway. my suggestion is to work out a standard of threading on tabahost events: 0.(non-obligatory) scenario forum: suggested scenario and fixing variable details. 1.tabahost forum: details (oob and time), registration, only one thread. 2.international, scenarios forum: announcements with references. no registration, no details. or any other standard that is not making confusion. uh?
suggestion: 1) to propose, discuss and develop entire idea about TH events => TabaHost General Discussion 2) after rules, date, time of event is set; official announce => Scenario / Tournament / Squad missions 3) divulgation, pilots invitation (?) => International Forum
vibora, registration at international? so what about general forum? unworthy? or you will make double registraton at international and at general? or i understood something wrong?
To me the suggestions are the same with little diferences! Both are good and I've started to organize this yesterday. My last post in International explain this. For a while thxs for help! In this next days I'll invite some experient and good players to be "Nagumos", "Fletchers", Spruances etc. Think about exec and tigrou!
in the matter of fact, I didnt think about registration... In early talks w/ red bull, we both agreed that we will use "Scenario / Tournament / Squad" to officially announce events (FH or TH), althougt registrations can be there... So I did think, that "TabaHost General Discussion" could be usefull to ppl post suggestions of events/scenarios, prior official announce, only development... without compromise to be real, just a discussion forum, where ppl can suggest ideas, give insights and opinions... when the idea goes ahead and event is finnaly planned, so its officially announced at "Scenario / Tournament / Squad"... So "International Forum" will be used only to catch attention of the ppl to real announce... exec, I think "General Forum" is not so read as other foruns... I believe "International Forum" could be more effective to catch attention... but I could be wrong, as usual...
you are wrong announcements with references should be at both international and general. if you don't know russian, use the only basic terms as: "scenario title:" "gmt time: hh:mm" "details: <link>" "registration: <link>" those words are quite simple and some of them even have similar pronounciation in russian.
ihmo, whatever the place of official thread, we just need to put link of it in other places, to be read by most ppl. @ hilmar: rg, we can try but i told u i wanted to fly for event.
i have offered to guys use still ready, proved, powerfull CMS scenarios website portal at http://fhscenarios.jinak.cz for use and publishing needed documets. But why dont make everything twice - isnt true exec?
instruct tigrou about adding and editing scenarios. probably he will accept your offer. since i don't organise scenarios, i cannot dictate the toolkit to scenario makers.
