People choose their own governments and it is up to those same people to do something about it.

    No, war isn't easy.

a guy has to shoot his own dog. If you expect someone to come over and shoot your dog for you, they are liable to stay for a while........

No, I didn't say that. I said, "people choose their own governments..."

Allowing a thing is a matter of choice.
    Who sucks in a sucker?

Either The People clean up their own [shoot your own dog] or else a nieghbour comes onto your property and shoots your dog FOR YOU.

I think, the way the world is these days, a lot of folks are going to have to take a long hard look at the systems they have allowed and force some changes. Do it however they have to.
Young people in Iran, for example, still have lots of balls and they are regretting being used by The Mullahs as they were in 79....
Maybe next time those young people THINK before they are told what to think? Who knows....
In the USA, young people are told what to think also. Same here, in my land. Damn damn.
I just hate getting on a bus and hearing people talking about the Four News Stories That Happenned Today. Fuck. If that isn't being fed, I don't know what is.

This is called perception programming, and is as old as the history of society itself. It is only more efficient this day and age due to information technology. Everyone can podcast their favorite group-jive-rag, and be fed the propaganda of their hearts desire....and the heiarchy knows it.

This statement holds true for any country, not just the West.

Amazing that at one time to be a part of a collective group-think process you had to have social interaction. Now everything is non-personal, and interactive; where does that leave the human social creature?

If you had a very private backyard with, say, 3m height trees around, and your neighbour built kinda guard tower 5m height with telescope on it, and explained that it's just for looking after the strange guy living a couple of blocks away, would you like it?

Oh, BTW. Does anybody know where that radar is planning to be located in Czech? I gonna live in Czech soon for a couple of years.. When I was in Soviet Army, some cat climbed on our radar.. I always try to keep as long distance as possible from any radar since that case

Hm hm. I've just read lots of newspaper articles about Putin's speech at Munich. I wonder.. it seems that there is still some hyperbolic fear of Russia in the world.. western world, in general. Russia now is spending about 20 billion dollars on armament against USA's 600 billion. We are not so dangerous, really :)
When I was a student, my older and more experienced friends used to warn me not to trip by train through the Poland because it's very dangerous.. I'm still afraid of Poland :)

I think you're reading way too much into this. It's not as if Russia and the U.S. would ever go to war against each other. And if they did, that little RADAR station sure wouldn't make too much of a difference, would it?

I'm not afraid of a guy who has billions of nukes, I'm more frightened by someone who has one.

besides "fear" of russia as you pointed out is not because of their superior military strength, it's because of the people who are in charge of all that junk

    and that putin's speach? hilarious
that's no way for a president to give speaches

    railroad joke:
A guy is traveling by train (obviously) in Russia. Suddenly the train stops in the middle of nowhere. Oh well, the guy thinks, probably just a scheduled stop or something, nothing to worry about. After a couple of hours he gets a little bit curious. He walks out of his cart and heads towards the front of the train. He asks the machinist:
    - What's wrong sir? Why aren't we going?
    - Oh nothing's wrong, we're just exchanging the locomotive.
    - For a new one?
    - No, for vodka.

If you fear us so much... i guess we must take precautions.

People can attack someone out of fear... and greed.

If Napoleon were French, would he have bled France white? Maybe.
I wonder if Corsicans celebrating Boney Bicentennial? Are they? I bet they fuckin aren't. But I could be wrong. I am not really interested, if they are. I think Napoleon was a bad bad man.
And I bet Corsica isn't very interested in claiming Boney as "one of ours!"

    იოსებ სტალინი
Now this guy. Another bad bad man. And, it would seem, many people in his adopted country claim him proudly as "one of ours!" And too, there are even some in his country of birth with the balls to claim him as 'one of ours.'
    Jeez.
He was Georgian. Let's not hold this simple and salient fact against Georgia, I am sure many people there are nice.
World isn't scared of Russia. World is scared of what Russia is capable of.
