I've just remembered the fate of the Kursk submariners.
Putin had no rational reason to let them die, but all the reasons to allow the others to save them.
He just doesn't care about people's lives, that's all.

    You shoot your feet.

As if your position was not dramatic enough :D
You're going where Kursk is - down.

    Exactly.
    Smear campaign,
The North Stream 2 was abandoned right after russia invaded, exactly like Biden said, even if they were not in control.
Biden is smart, he wouldn't have ordered or allowed something like that. For we're talking about a military alliance and this looks like a military aggression,
What was to be gained by the US from such an attack? Nothing.
To be lost? Everything, for the whole West.

Is this russian stand up comedy?
Some surrealist take on moral fabric?

    The crash seems very near.

    Hilarious!
They even drafted Ivan Maksimov (49 now) 5-times world master in bandy (game similar to hockey).

And that argumentation about "ethnic minorities" - fits the Nazi style perfectly.

    Warned of what?
The russian conquest of the West?
    Get a fucking life.

I can't believe you are stuck in the same world view.
Putin is going madder by the hour. His decisions are worse and worse.
The situation for regular Russians is getting harder. They're drafted into a failed army and sent to war without training and without life-saving equipment.
I think there are foreigners who are more empathetic and more concerned for the life of this recruits than you are.
You seem absolutely detached of any morality and any concern about your compatriots' lives.

Should you retreat to a cave, you would come out in 30 years holding the same views.

I'm bored with that constant threat of using the "atomic" option.
I guess Putin knows, that the moment he decides to nuke Ukraine (some analysts fear that the NaZis may use tactical nuclear weapons in face of a defeat on a large scale), NATO will retaliate in a manner that will hit Russia, where it hurts.

Yesterday I read an analysis (don't remember the name of the guy, but he was Russian) stating that possible retaliation targets include the Kaliningrad Oblast, and the Black Sea Fleet. I kinda doubt NATO would attack Kaliningrad, but sinking the entire Black Sea Fleet and destruction of all its seaports seems highly likely.

I remember I've read something along the same line. It was a hypothetical situation, in which if russia lost the Black Sea fleet as a retaliation from NATO, Putin would consider it a win, because it would mean holding out against a NATO attack. So he would have something to brag about at home. So he would keep power.
Right now he can't brag about anything, as he's losing to a "weaker" foe - Ukraine.

What the idiot doesn't realise is that nuclear war against NATO is mutually assured destruction. 70's doctrine, that he ignores.
And that Putin alone can't decide the launch of ballistic missiles.
It's all fantasy for the russian masses.

As someone on the net said: russia isn't really fighting against NATO, but against NATO surplus stocks.
