    Not extinct, dormant.
It last erupted @400 years ago, blew a big chunk of itself off to SW. Killed a lot of Aboriginal people, they lived in a nice valley, that lead down into what is now the high ground around Bellingham, WA, USA and then into the Frazer Delta. Aboriginal folk they have old stories about it in their oral history, a very real tragedy.
    I will erupt again.

    Not every day.
WHen I was a kid there were evil things called behive burners and they lined our valley and made the air stink all the time.

Nowadays, they disguise the farts that come from automobiles and we only see their poison when it stacks up, and it does, especially in summer.

Hippies didn't like beehive burners, so they are mostly gone from BC, but hippies LOVE automobiles, which is the smog here now, with a fresh minty scent!
