There is a new WBhelper2 application available at http://www.chat.ru/~yogik33/WBHelper2.exe This one doesn't change anything in WB client and this means you are not breacking any lows or license agreements. It uses different way of providing connecions to FH. If you used wbhelper.exe then before you can use wbheper2 you have to start wbhelper and press back to ien. After that you can start using WBHelper2. If you used wbfree.exe then you have to run "wbfree.exe restore" prior to use wbhelper2. For fresh install you don't need to do anything, just start wbhelper, check what proxy is best for you and click "Go Freehost".
2 doesn't change the WB client , 1 does and in this case you are breaking license agreement so it's your choice, and 1 is not going to be updated and supported anymore, only 2. The choice is yours
