zzzt its really hard to classify gahris but i vote for Airacobra cause i like this plane when im red for... (Ho-Hun knows what for ) and i respect when gold i saw what that plane can do when it is in good hands (yes, i mean Ground's hands 'n foots )
so many names in p39. too bad it has 37mm. it would be great to see their skills with lower caliber guns. 1x7mm would make awsome fights!
Re: zzzt Hi Lukass, >Ho-Hun knows what for I do The aircraft I fear most are missing from that poll: B-25, B-17, B-24! However, to be honest, I fear about any Red plane except for the Mosquito (no otto), the Spitfire (too many to fear them all) and the I-16 (too slow to be a danger). Only when I get the Fw 190D-9, the fear slowly fades. I'm mostly afraid of collisions after that. It's quite different when I'm flying Red - I don't fear anything then. (Well, except the Ju 88.) The blind spots of the P-40B and the P-51B makes me damn nervous though. Regards, Henning (HoHun)
depends on pilot. i fear nothing in 109 excpet a good pilot in any plane or god damn stupid otto's therefore my vote goes for single-engine ackstars
Hi friends, first of all, I agree it's the pilot not the machine; but talking about aircrafts, and since I mostly fly 109 (but in some cases 190, Ki84 and the venerable zero ) I fear Yak 9 and Yak 3 over all. In some cases the Hellcat is challenging to because of climb ability. One turn of the Spìtfire means its elimination when flying 109. P-51 series is more easy to kill (or force to run) I would say. When flying the zeke the only thing I fear is a 1 vs +1 fight, since zekes only excel at turning and is pretty hard to survive versus multiple enemies. Have fun, Tabano Jagdgeschwader 52
I missed the option: aircraft with otto. I go for it, any aircraft with ottos are the most dangerous. Any fighter in good hands is damn dangerous with no exception.
La5FN's are a major threat to my usual mount, the 190A. They turn, accelerate, climb and retain energy better, and at some altitudes are even a little faster. I worry about them the most. The later model Spits are a problem if you get careless. You can afford few mistakes vs a Spit 14 or even Spit 9, although if you're in a 109 that's more or less a moot point, just aim your nose up. (Who said the 109 is an "expert's plane"? yeah right) P39s are okay, but inferior in every respect but firepower to the 109F and C202. Once the 190 is out, the only time to worry about a P39 is if they get a D7 37mm hit as you extend Strangely, even though I consider a 190A an easy kill when I'm flying F4U-1D, I also consider F4Us easy kills when I'm flying 190A. I guess few people know how to handle the heavy planes all that well, and their stalls destroy newbies. Maybe it's that all the good pilots of these planes don't get in such a situation in the first place A P-51 being kept at speed is a big threat. Fortunately most players try to turnfight with it IL-2s and TBFs are a big problem if you're in anything with MG/FFs, or only one MG151/20. When the 190, G2/R6, 110G and even Ju87G are out, the flying tanks are fairly easy kills. B-24s and B-17s don't concern me, especially if the pilot is relying on Otto and not manning their own guns. Strangely enough, the only time I really get shot down by these two, is when I'm in a 262, I close too fast, get too close, and get ventilated regardless of the 300-1200 km/h overtake. Other than that, no worry at all. I can down He-177s and their 20mm otto easily enough with 12mm MGs, taking down 12mm otto with 20mm cannon(s) is a piece of cake.
vide my post in topic "Who do you fear the most when RED?" by devill 3km dot on clear sky con!!! d34...d25...d15...I16!!!! or d34...d25...d15...P39!!!! until you get few turns you dont know nothing about pilot!
looked at the poll list and understood that heres no the plane i'm afraid of. But when i'm red i'm afraid of 109. But depends on pilot of course.
