What is the average salary in Perm, Russia?
Wikipedia says "RUB 46200" gross, monthly in 2022.
So you say you can buy 130 kilograms of tomatoes with an average salary in Perm?
Isn't that great?

I live in one of the poorest parts of Poland (lubelskie voivodeship).
The average salary here in PLN 6070 (one of the lowest in Poland), still that would buy you 607 kilograms of tomatoes.
The minimum wage is PLN 3600 nationwide - still sufficient to buy almost 3 times as much as for an average salary in Perm, Russia.

You mistake transport difficulties caused by Brexit, with purchasing power.
Btw - bought some cabbage yesterday - PLN 1.29 a kilogram, also less than half the Russian price of RUB 50.
Only cucumbers are more expensive in Poland right now.

т.е. на руки рагуль получает 4250 злотых. средняя цена не гнилых и не незрелых помидорок 20 злотых ( https://sklepdlaogrodu.pl/pl/c/Nasiona-pomidorow/2282237 ). - значит пиздливый полячишко взял зарплату без вычета налогов и разделил на самые дешевые и гнилые помидоры ценой менее 10 злотых. Если же брать нормальную цену и нормальную зарплату то получается 215 кг помидоров.

Don't get me wrong: I think Russia, in its current shape, is a living fossil of the imperial age. And its people would only benefit from secession or complete breaking, even if they decide to stay in some sort of union of independent states. The provinces are ripped off by the metropolis. There's such a polarisation of wealth that here would be immoral (and Romania is really not to be praised for this). And there's the authoritarian rule of Moscow, that has always been the same and has damaged the society, no matter the fleeting illusions of freedom and prosperity the people had at certain times.
